Amy, wake up.......trouble at 3:00!!
Here comes Marty & she looks upset.

Maybe her boyfriend left after their first kiss??
He didn't say good bye, and left her a note that made no sense.  Guys do that kind of thing you know!!
Amy replied, then kissed Ty's nose.

Are you two trying to get me fired!! 

I'm sorry Marty......I had to see Amy & I'm
tired of lying in that bed day after day.
Oh. and she needed my help with her geometry quiz!!

Oh, so now you're a math major, are you!!
Marty snipped back with a grin.

He is really good at geometry.  Ty used angles & formulas to help me win a horse competition!!
Amy added.

I smell horse manure in here!!
Marty replied, then added emphatically....

Ty, next time you need to take a vacation from your room; you call me.  We'll use a wheel chair.
Do you understand how this kind of rogue behavior is not allowed??

Yes ma'am.  But what if we're not done cuddling??
Ty asked respectfully!!

Amy added.........This is the first time Ty has held me, it's really nice!!   Can we have 15 more minutes, please?? 
Please with sugar!!  He is soooo yummy!!

He's going to be chopped liver when I'm done with him!!  Marty replied with a big grin.
Is Amy's weight hurting you Ty??

Yes, but she feels really good curled up in my lap.  Do you know!!  Plus my mouth is sore & Amys a really good kisser!!  My lips are feeling better already!!

Here Ty, 2 pills for you......and here's a glass of water.  I suppose you two lovebirds are going on a date tonight!!  Marty said with a laugh.

Maybe down to the cafeteria, I could buy us a fish & macaroni cheese dinner to share!!
Ty quipped. 

Amy smiled & dragged her soft cheek across Ty's rough face.  She slipped her hand into his.

You're such a romantic Ty!!
You two runaways have 15 minutes.  I'll be back!!
But.......I want you both to promise me.......
no more excursions without my permission.

I promise!!  Both Amy & Ty said.

Amy curled back into Ty's lap & purred.
They were silent for a few minutes & stared out the window.
Amy reached up and felt Ty's beard stubble.
When did you start shaving??  She asked while looking south toward Okotoks.

I don't know, I guess I was like 13. 

Who taught you to shave??

I just figured it out.  Ty replied.

Straight edge or electric??

Straight edge.

Did you cut yourself??

Yes, every day for about a week.

How about your voice, when did it start getting deeper??

I don't know, I think my voice started changing when I was maybe 12'ish. 
Why??

I like your voice & the way your face feels when you haven't shaved for a few days. 

When did you become beautiful??  Ty asked.

I'm not!!  I'm just me!!  Amy rolled her eyes at him.

Amy.......you are absolutely gorgeous!!  The prettiest girl I've ever seen!!

Ty.........

Amy sighed & felt Ty's face again.

Ty......will you promise me something??

For you, anything!!

I'm serious Ty.......
The next time you need to run off and do whatever you did......will you talk to me first.
And tell me where you're going and why.

I promise Amy; I give you my word!!

Thank you!!  Amy said as she kissed his chest.
These hospital gowns are stupid!!  They open in the back!!!  How can I count your chest hairs??

Ty tickled Amy & she screamed.

I think your grandfather designed these gowns!!Ty replied
They both laughed.

Ty.......

Yes Amy.......

For weeks after you left, I used to cry myself to sleep and try to remember what your voice sounded like.  And I think Spartan knew I was upset too.  He sort of fussed over me a lot.
You know??

Is Spartan mad at me too??

Yup!!  Everyone's mad at you!!
Amy said as she grinned, then kissed Ty tenderly!!

Amy.......

What Ty........tell me!!

No you'll think it's silly!!

Ty I promise I won't laugh.......talk to me Ty!!
I need you to trust me and tell me what's in your heart.  I want to be your girl Ty; and guys are supposed to tell their girls everything.  Including how they feel inside.

Amy, when I was gone......

Amy, when I was gone, the only way I could fall asleep was to imagine I was kissing you......
Like all night long kissing you!!
I missed you.
That's how I felt Amy.
