Mackenzie Rosita Prime POV

I packed all of my stuff in my bag. I zipped it up. I then sighed. I put my hat on my head and put on my black jacket. I then walked down to the others. "Take it." Noah told Eugene.

"Come on, you got to protect yourself." Noah stated. "Not if I don't go."

"We're not going all that way so we can just drive back with the wrong shit." Aiden snapped. "It's a dozen of these. They are consistent in appearance across manufactures. Okay? The shit will be right. I will install said shit. Then the grid will be fully operational again."

Noah handed him the pistol. He took it.

I sighed as I pulled my backpack on. I then turned to Dragonstorm. He stood up shaking his body.

"That's everything?" I asked. Tara nodded. "All right."

"All set?" Dad asked. "Yeah."

"You got this. You always do." I smiled. Dad kissed my forehead. "Power grid was a prototype. I'm surprised it took this long to start acting up." Mr. Monroe said.

"We'll get it back online." I said. "Daylight's burning. let's go!" Aiden stated.

Deanna turned to me. "I know I said it before, but thank you." I smiled.

Dragonstorm bent down and I climbed onto his back. He then chittered. I patted his back and bent down. Dragonstorm then flew off.

He landed and I got off him. "That's it there?" I asked.

"That's the warehouse. Looks like that door is our fastest way in and out." Aiden said. "We should know all the exits first." I said. "So there's a plan if things go south."

"Already got one. It's called going out the front." Nicholas sneered. He then turned to Aiden and he didn't laugh.

"Noah, heads up!"

He turned. He shot the walker once and got it.

"Look at you with the aim." Aiden said. "Kenzie's right, we should do a perimeter check." He said agreeing with me. "Know our exits first."

I walked with Dragonstorm behind me. I stabbed a walker in the head. I got to the front. "Oh, shit."

Dragonstorm growled. Way too much walkers were out in the front.

We got to a door in the back and Glenn banged on the door. "Give it another second." He ordered. Dragonstorm whimpered. "I'll be okay, buddy."

He whined.

We got inside and looked for the stuff Eugene told us about. We checked the isles first and heard cage rattling and some walkers. "They're stuck behind something!" Glenn said.

Me and Tara then found the things Eugene were talking about. "Hey! We found them!" I said.

We saw Aiden shooting at a walker in some military suit. "AIDEN! STOP! STOP!"

I was thrown back and that was the last I remembered.

"Kenzie?" Glenn turned. "Oh, shit!" Kenzie's head was bleeding because it hit the wall.

Her wolf Dagger was standing protectively over her. "Noah. Watch Kenzie." Noah nodded.

Glenn lifted Kenzie and took her into the room.

Optimus felt pain in his helm. It could only mean Kenzie was hurt.

"How are they?" Glenn asked. "They're losing blood fast. Kenzie looks like she has serious head trauma."

"Help! Somebody!" Everyone turned. Aiden was moving. Somehow he was alive.

Eugene managed to get both Kenzie and Tara in the van. "Hey!"

He honked the horn and the music blared. The walkers in the front followed him.

Nicholas ran over to Eugene. "Move over, we're leaving!" He yelled. Eugene shut off the engine. "Get back in the van." Nicholas snapped. "Not until you tell me where they are." Eugene said.

"Either you come back with me or stay here and you die with your friends." Eugene reached for his gun but before he touched it, Dragonstorm slammed down and roared in Nicholas's face.

His head hit the ground and he blacked out.

Glenn came from behind the metal dragon.

"Where's Noah?" Eugene asked. Glenn didn't answer.
