Mackenzie Rosita Prime POV

I was on Pickle's back and she was hidden under the bridge. We then looked. "It's clear!" I whispered. Daryl nodded.

I walked beside Daryl and Mom. Tara saw a walker and threw it at Dwight. "Tara!" I yelled. "What? He got it."

Dwight crushed in the walker's head. "Hey. Just keep 'em moving!" Daryl snapped at her. We continued walking. "Did you hear them talking on the walkie about Carson and Gabriel?" Mom asked. "Yeah. Probably heading to Hillstop, same as us." Daryl said. "Hopefully better than us." Mom said.

I walked beside mom. "Daryl." He turned to her. "Where are they?" Daryl asked. "They neded rest. They're exhausted. They haven't slept." Mom said. "All right, 10 minutes. Then we keep goin'." Daryl told us. "I'm gonna go back, cover our tracks."

"I'll go wit you." Mom said.

Daryl nodded.

"I have a question. Why the hell is he still breathing?" Tara asked. "Fight ain't over." Daryl snapped. "It is for him. I'm done waiting!" Tara snapped. "Not now. Not yet." Daryl snapped.

Tara looked at mom. "He's right. Dwight could have an angle we don't know about. He could help. He wants to. Can't give up on that yet." Mom said.

She followed Daryl.

I turned to Dwight. "Come on." I gently took his arm and pulled him with me.

I was laying on Pickle's side. Mom walked over. "Kenzie?" I turned to her. "Yeah?"

"Let me check your back." She and Daryl looked.

"We need to get to Hilltop. Now!" Rosita hissed. She then turned to me. "Get on Pickle and get there. Now!"

I nodded. I climbed on Pickle. She then flew off.

I woke up and I was in Hilltop in a bed. I sat up and Maggie looked. "Hey. Hey, Kenzie." She smiled at me. I sat up. "W-Where am I?" I asked. 'You're at Hilltop. Pickle got you here." She told me.

I nodded. I sat up and winced.

I heard cooing and looked.

"Maggie, Gregory wants to speak to you!" One of the people said.

"Come on." I walked outside and Pickle looked up. She then turned her attention back to Gregory and she growled. "Margaret. Thank you for speaking with me." Gregory said.

"What do you want, Gregory?" Maggie asked. "I know we haven't exactly seen eye-to-eye on anything. Loyalties have been questioned, fingers have been pointed... all of that aside, you have to admit that, since you threw me in here, my behavior has been pretty good." Gregory said.

"You're staying in, Gregory." Maggie snapped. She started to walk off. I followed. "What?! So you're not gonna hear me out? You can't just leave me here forever." Gregory tried to reason. "Give me a reason to kill you, and I won't have to." Maggie stated.

"He's right, you know!" One of the Saviors spoke up. Maggie turned. "We've been good. We've done everything you've told us to, and still, last night, you took one of us out and--"

"Yeah, I know what I did." Maggie snapped as she walked over. "Okay-- The longer you treat us like the enemy, the more we're gonna act--"

"You are the enemy." Maggie snapped. "I don't think we have to be." He said.

"What do you want?" I asked. "Time outside the pen for good behavior. You know, one at a time, a couple minutes a day, some-- Some shade, exercise. You can have all the guns on us you like. What do you say?" He asked.

"I don't have the resources to oblige you, even if I wanted to." Maggie told him. "So, that's it, then?" He asked.

"No. I'm cutting off your rations. A few days, maybe longer." Maggie turned and we walked off.

I two dragons fly above everyone. I sighed in relief.

Mom smiled and she walked over. "You're okay?" Mom asked. I nodded. "Maggie said the doctor was able to stitch the wounds so he said I'll be okay." I said.

Mom nodded.

"OPEN THE GATES! IT'S OPTIMUS AND RICK!" Someone yelled.
