What I've Learned

Little did Asahina know, Mizuki was walking down the road, humming. They stopped when they saw her. Is that Mizuki?  Asahina thought as she looked upright.

From the distance, Asahina waved at Mizuki. That made Mizuki walk up to her, and when they made it to only a couple of feet ahead, they seemed appalled.

Mizuki gasped, and pulled out their phone. They tapped a few things out, words maybe, then held out their umbrella. Their phone beeped in reply, and they nodded their head, something confirmed.  "Come on" they said, "We have somewhere to be."

Mizuki led her to a bus stop, where the 3:30 bus would soon be pulled to a halt. It was about 3:27, and after a short wait, the bus indeed showed up soon afterward, and many students were on the bus. A couple of their associates and friends were there, but none from their band.

They drove for what felt short, and sat in silence. Asahina stared at the floor, and Mizuki must have understood she didn't feel like talking, which made sense.

In a matter of minutes, the bus pulled to wherever Mizuki had requested. Walking a block or two from the stop they left off of, they soon made it to a familiar place.

Which so happened to be Kanade's home.

Asahina had never really been there much, and it wasn't all that familiar to her. When the door was answered, Kanade seemed to be expecting the pair, and invited them in hurriedly.
