As Levi made his way out of the room, his eyes fell upon you meticulously tending to a table that boasted a stunning gold finish crafted from the finest oak. He cocked his head to the side, his lips curling into a sly grin, as he made his way towards you.
Greeting you with a smile, he spoke, "Good evening, Venus." You looked up, meeting his gaze and returning his smile.
"Good evening. How did the meeting go?" you asked politely.
"It went very well, thank you. But, if I may, I have a few questions for you," Levi responded his smile still in place. "Is everything alright?" you inquired, a note of concern creeping into your voice. Shaking his head, Levi chuckled, "No, no, nothing is wrong. I was just curious about how long you've known the prince."
You pondered his question momentarily before sighing and replying, "Well, personally, I suppose only a few days. But, if you're asking how long I've been serving him, it's been since we were children. I was brought to the castle when I was around seven years old. He and his brother were quite rambunctious back then." Levi let out a laugh and patted your shoulder.
"He's as hard-headed and hot-tempered as any young and daring prince can be. His older brother may have matured, but his frequent brothel visits tell me otherwise," Levi commented with a knowing smile.
You couldn't help but chuckle at his words. "I'm afraid I couldn't possibly comment on that," you replied, still amused.
Levi nodded in agreement before adding, "I understand. You are far too kind to speak ill of anyone." Levi then turned his attention to Eren, who had just exited the meeting room and observed you conversing. After a moment, Levi turned back to you and spoke, "Tonight, you'll be staying in Eren's chambers. I can't say much, but we want to ensure your safety. Is that clear?"
"Yes, of course, my lord," you answered respectfully.
"Please, call me Levi. And one more thing, Venus," he paused, a mischievous glint in his eye. "I don't think you truly realize how much you mean to the prince. You are quite... different." With that, Levi walked away, letting out a laugh.
