As the dawn broke, the radiant sun gradually ascended the vast expanse of the sky, heralding the beginning of a brand new day. The glittering stars that had adorned the heavens the previous night gradually vanished into oblivion as the fluffy white clouds drifted in, creating an idyllic backdrop for the day ahead. Engrossed in watering the plants in the garden, you were humming a melodious tune that was both calming and soothing. Through his chamber window, Eren watched with a contented smile as you went about your business, appreciating the serenity and tranquility of the moment.
"I'll make her mine." Eren muttered to himself. Zeke had now been watching for quite some time with a goofy smile present on his face.
"Make who yours eh?" Zeke finally spoke and stood beside Eren as he looked out the window. The sudden appearance caught Eren off guard.
Zeke, how long were you standing there?" Eren glanced at his brother. He was smiling but had a slightly surprised look on his face. Zeke shrugged, and Eren scoffed. "I wasn't staring at Venus if that's what you're implying with that bastardly expression."
"You are terrible at lying." He looked out the window and toward the afternoon sun with a smile. "She seems happy."
"May it stay that way." Eren said with a warm and genuine smile as he continued to look out the window at you. "I really care for her, and I do not know how much I can say it to give it meaning." His words and his words held immense truth to them as his voice and tone reflected how much he cared for you.
"Uhu... totally. Got a great rack too-"
"ZEKE!" Eren snapped at his brother with a shocked and outraged look. "Do not say such things about Venus! She's off limits and not your personal toy to lust over".
"I was only poking fun! I meant no harm by it."
"Just because I am your brother doesn't give you permission to say such things about Venus."
"I know, but that is not the reason i am here."
"Oh yeah?" Eren raised an eyebrow and looked at his brother as he spoke severely and sternly. "Go right ahead then; tell me why are you here?"
"Rumors spread like wildfire yeah? Well i was taking a walk down town square and happened to find the rotting head someone on a pike." Zeke sighed. "After I had asked a few guards it seems that head belonged to General Tobias. What in gods name happened?"
