The weekend had finally come, and that's when you planned on moving to the Stark Tower.
You hadn't interacted with Maria since the night she came over, you only exchanged a few smiles and nods from across the large hallways of S.H.I.E.L.D. You really hoped that she didn't forget about you, that it wasn't just a one-time thing. Perhaps if you moved into the tower, you would see her more often.
You excitedly packed your things and went over to the Stark Tower, where Nat, Steve, Wanda, and Vision welcomed you and helped you carry your boxes. Your room was much bigger than you imagined, with an ensuite AND a balcony. It was quite plain, but it had a lot of potential for customization.
Nat and Wanda lingered while the others left.
"So... What do you think of the tower?" asked Wanda full of curiosity, interrupting your thoughts.
"It's great! My room is really nice and the tower's location is perfect..." you rambled, clearly about to follow the advantages with a 'but', though you stopped when its turn came.
"What's the matter?" questioned Nat, catching on to your hesitation.
"It's just... I haven't seen Maria here yet..." you whispered with a frown on your face.
Nat and Wanda suddenly became excited hearing you mention Maria. Wanda leaned in just like a high schooler gossiping and asked:"Are you and Maria like... A thing?"
"I'm not sure, I mean... I thought we were, but we haven't spoken since the morning after the party so I have no clue," you explained after a bit of a pause.
Nat smirked as she realized that Maria had spent the night at your place after walking you home."Well you must talk to her," stated Nat, jumping backward on your bed and lying there like she owned the place. "I did sneak peek, however, at your schedule for the following week and I found out that she is your S.O." she continued, smirking.
"S.O.?" you asked, confused.
"Supervising officer. I didn't really expect Maria to do this sort of thing since she's never had a trainee, but I guess she must've chosen this to spend more time with you," replied Wanda before Nat could answer. You grinned and let yourself fall onto the bed, next to Nat, Wanda soon joining the two of you.
"You owe me five bucks, Wanda," said Nat, after a long moment of silence. They broke out into a fit of laughter when they saw your shocked face.
"You did not just bet on whether I and Maria have fucked or not!" you exclaimed while holding in laughter.
"We didn't have a bet, but you did now confirm our suspicions," replied Nat, smirking mischievously.
"Sneaky!" exclaimed Wanda, high-fiving Nat.
"Damn it!" you muttered under your breath.

A/n ~ it's SO hard to friend-zone Nat, she is my main Marvel crush and it pains me not to be romantically involved with her 😩 I will be strong though
You can imagine your room however you want it to be, I picture it full of plants, kind of indie/boho/cottage-core
