Natalie Scatorccio; the morally ambiguous — lacks certainty about whether something is right or wrong.

When Natalie Scatorccio had first met Kalista she'd felt as if it was destiny. Of course she didn't believe in that stupid thing but it was clear there was something pulling them together, fate, destiny, God, all these endless possibilities. Personally, she didn't care what it was that was forcing her soul to be intertwined with said girl's but she was thankful it had happened. Ever since that first practice they'd had together, she knew this girl was meant to be in her life.

Every conversation they had made her want to know everything about her, and every time the conversation ended she wanted to find a way to keep it going so it would never stop. Natalie listened intently whenever she mentioned something she had an interest in so she could also be interested in it, creating a form of connection between the two. That way their conversations would never end and she'd be talking to her for eternity, not that she minded.

However, Natalie was never sure if Kalista reciprocated these feelings for her, did she also feel her heartbeat quicken whenever she got a glimpse of her eyes? Did she search a crowded room just to find the sanctuary of her smile? She'd ask her about it but the thought of rejection was much more haunting than the not knowing. Natalie valued their friendship a lot more than whatever they could possibly be. She'd rather have her in her life than not at all.

Being stranded here was possibly the worst thing that could happen to these girl's but seeing Kalista's smile made Natalie distracted from their reality. Ever since they'd broken away from the group when they'd been swimming it had been replaying constantly in her mind. She'd find herself throughout the day, raising her hand to the necklace Kalista had given her and opening it up slowly, noticing the small flower laying inside.

By now it had begun to die and the corners had curled into themselves, forming a brown line through the petals but she didn't care. She just had to remind herself not to open the locket, not wanting to lose the remains of the flower. It was such a small and meaningless object to everyone else now but she smiled every time she looked at it, her smile flashing in her mind every time she thought about it.

Once again, Natalie was distracted from the job she was meant to be doing, which was chopping wood for their fire, too focused on seeking out the familiar brown eyes that haunted her every move. When she didn't find them she frowned, wondering where the girl could possibly be. Turning her eyes to Taissa, she contemplated asking the girl but chose against it, not wanting the girl to ask too many questions.

It seemed she was looking at the girl too long as Taissa raised her brow, placing the axe back down into the wood.

"Can I help you?" Taissa questioned, looking at the blonde as she shrugged.
