Two weeks have passed since Wil first started working there. He got along with most of his coworkers. Or rather, he didn't talk to most of them, but smiled when passing anyone in the corridor. He wished people good mornings, good weekends and goodbyes. He found out about kitchen-like room which had a coffee machine, which was a great relief. And he had become friends with Y/N. They shared short interactions, when to saw each other. Nothing too personal, but it always brought a genuine smile to their faces. He had become a generally smiley young man. His mental health got better, by a lot. When he woke up in the morning, he was glad, that he'd have to get up. He felt like he had a purpose.

Now if it wasn't for that elephant in the imaginary room, it'd be perfect. Tommy for the most part, he thought, had accepted the situation. Wilbur had taken two days of the past three weeks to join other people's streams. And went like two times himself. While it wasn't so bad, it was not what he wanted to do for a life time. And with office work, he simply couldn't do it both. He hadn't announced him wanting to leave to the public yet. But he wanted to do so soon. His plan to have a proper job worked out, so why wait much longer?

He was sitting at his desk. He was 10 minutes early than he usually was, because this morning he was motivated to do his work. He had a started article from yesterday, that he had just the right idea how to finish. As he took his laptop out of the bag and turned it on, he heard his office door open. It was his favorite coworker. She had opened the door with elbow and held in each hand a coffee mug, both filled to the brim. Completely focused on the mugs, cautious not to spill anything she didn't notice Wilbur sitting there immediately. "Can I help you?" he got up and held out a hand. Her gaze shot up to him.

An embarrassingly bright red blush developed on her face. She handed him one of the mugs. "God, you're just so painfully punctual." she muddered.
"This was supposed to be a surprise for you. Y'know, it should have stood here when you arrived."

"It is! Thank you!" he smiled. This was the first time she had done something like this for him without asking. "Take a sip and tell me if that's it tastes ok" she demanded. Waiting impatiently.

He brought the coffee to his lips. "Don't worry, you made it, it must be good." He took a sip. He looked puzzled for a moment. Then he took another sip. He raised an eyebrow. "How did you know how I like my coffee?"

"Lucky guess" she shrugged. (And that my friends was an absolute lie.)
In fact, she had been peaking at the way he made his coffee, when they were it the kitchen at the same time. She always pretended to be busy with something, but in reality, she had been planning to surprise him with it for a while.

He looked at her just a moment longer in suspicion, then sat down the mug.
"While you're here, I need some advice from you."
Now she was the one to raise an eyebrow or two. "Yes?"
"If, let's say, you have a bunch of friends. Many of them. And you knew you only have a limited amount of time left with them and afterwards won't be able to meet then again. Like there's nothing wrong with any of them, but for some reason you won't see them after that. What would you do?"

Y/N sat down at the edge of the table, careful not to break anything. "If that was the case, then I'd throw a big party. I'd invite all of them. That way, I'll always have great memories, when I think about them. I'd want it to end with a big bang."

Wil tilted his head to the side. He had not thought about it in this way before. That was a great idea actually. He could invite all his streamer friends and have one last party stream. His community could have one last amazing stream to come back to if they decided to remember him. It would be legendary.

"Not a bad thought, sunshine, not a bad thought. Thank you once again." He held up the coffee mug. "I owe you one!"

'Sunshine' had become his official nickname for her. She didn't mind it one bit. In all honestly, it gave her a warm feeling in her stomach. It was this small thing, they had just between them. It felt special. To the both of them.
