Wilbur pov:

When I woke up that morning, I felt something warm next to me. Scratch that, I felt someONE next to me. I hesitated to open my eyes for a moment. It was painfully bright and the alcohol had left me a nice goodbye present, a strong headache. A women was laying in my bed... My eyes wandered up. Oh no. No no no no. Her. Anything after the stream was still a blur. It would take a bit for that to come back. But I kow for sure, that I had not invited her prior to the party, so how did she get here? I backed up a bit to create distance. I have never been so close to her. Her presence radiated a sort of cozyness. It felt inappropriate to look at her like that. I checked under the blanket. Good. Both of us were still wearing all our clothes.

I needed to get out of this. My head started buzzing when I got on my feet. With my eyes half closed, I made my way into the kitchen. Water would do and maybe I could find an ibuprofen somewhere. I downed the glass mostly all at once, leaving a last sip in it and even my throat hurt when swallowing. Was coffee a good idea? It's been so long since I've last had that much of a hangover. The humming of my beloved machine got me into the headspace of thinking.
I sat down.

I ended stream last night, people went home, and then I sat down... I must have passed out on the couch. Then there was Nikki, Jack, Tommy and... Tubbo I believe. They were walking around for a while. I could only recall glimpses of them. The four of them in front of me. Then five. That must have been, when she came in. So she only got there when the party had already ended. There was this important piece of information missing. What made her come here? And how did she knew where I lived? Did she find out about me online? I mean, I was probably trending. Oh god, I didn't want her to know about that part yet. No, she wasn't supposed to know about it ever.

"Rough night yesterday, huh?" Her voice appeared beside me. The coffee machine must have woken her up.

"What?!" I was purely confused.

"Do you remember what happened at all?" No, it did not. Would I possibly hurt her feelings, if I told her? I had to risk it to know more. I hesitated and stayed quiet.

"As I expected. You see, I'm not mad at you. At least now I know why you weren't exactly free this weekend. " A half smile passed her face.

"You do?" She did?!

"Yes, Wilbur." She knows. She never called me that. There's no way she could know about that name if she didn't read it online.

"I'm sorry. I meant to tell you about it eventually, there was never an occasion where it was necessary to talk about it. I wanted it to be a part of my past. That's why I started at your company-" "Hold on a second. What exactly are you talking about, Wil?"

Man, that woman sure had her ways to make me nervous.

"You know, the streaming thing."

I held my breath.
She crossed her arms and looked at me with a puzzled expression.

"Listen, I have no idea what you're talking about. I know you threw this big party yesterday and it must have been so great. Great enough for you to end up being past the tipsy state of drunk. You called me. You wanted me here. And you wanted me to take care of you. Your little friends gave me some last minute advice for you and left."

I called her.

"What did I say to you?"
I went to take another sip of water.

She couldn't hide another smile.
"A few things. Only the sweetest. Personally the invitation to get into bed with you surprised me the most."

I almost choked. I'd done embarrassing things on the internet before and usually it doesn't affect me at all, but this?

My face and ears felt hot. My eyes were now locked onto the floor. I didn't have the courage to look at her.

"You were pretty convincing though."
She sat down on another chair next to him and put a hand on his shoulder. "I did get some good rest to be honest. Now to not make this any worse and because I'm hungry, wanna make breakfast? If you show me where the stuff for it is, I'll make you some top tier pancakes."

For the first time this morning, I could relax, even smile.
