"Tita..." I mumbled that makes her eyebrows flinch and raise.
She even chuckle while looking at me as if she's mocking me.
"Oh, dear. Don't call me that, you better call me madam since your not my son's fiance anymore right? Wala na kayong koneksyon and your mother... abandoned you. How poor you are Aquilary, hija. So then, better know your place. Marunong kang tumingala sa mas mataas sa'yo hija. You already know that I don't like you from the very start for my son right?"
She directly said.
Rinig ko pa ang pagsinghap ng mga kasama nya at maya maya pa ay sabay sabay silang tumawa ng mahina.
Nagsalubong ang kilay ko habang nakatingin sa ina ni Riegh. I used to admire her before but all that admiration faded when she show her true self infront of me everytime I'm not with Riegh before.
Isa syang fashion designer at modelo kaya't nagawa ko syang hangaan noon but it is really true that you still need to dig deeper to know what's inside.

Mapanghusgang tanong sa akin ng isang ginang habang pinapasadahan ako ng tingin.

I live for my self, I study for my self without any help of others and I work for my own living. So neither of you have no rights to question me to how I still studying in this prestigious University because somehow...even if I don't have enough money for the tuition here I can still stay here using my brain, I can be a scholar here but...in your children's case, kaya ba nilang mag aral pa rito sa oras na maubos na ang yaman nyo?"
Napangisi ako ng makita kung paano kumunot ang noo nila at magsalubong ang kanilang kilay.

At bigla silang natigilan ng marinig ang boses ni Riegh na papalapit sa direksyon namin.

Banta nito sa sariling ina na agad ikinagulat ng mga ginang.
Kumunot pa lalo ang noo ko ng lumingon si Riegh sa akin with a worried expression.
"Are you hurt Ilary?"
He sounds sincere.
"I'm fine. Just please talk to you mother and her friends. Their attitudes towards youngest are not suitable for them as a parents. They're look uneducated at all. If you may excuse me."
Malamig kong ani habang nakatingin ng diretso sa mga mata ni Riegh.
I thought that he'll questioned me and look at me suspiciously but I didn't expect him to take my side immediately.
He was about to say something but I immediately turn my back at them.
Nakakaasiwa na sila.
"Wait miss! Let me escort you outside. And also I want to apologise for what my tita said and also for not stepping in a while ago. I'm just too amuse to see how strong and mature are my cousin's ex fiancee. Please forgive me."
Bigla naman akong natigilan ng humarang sa harapan ko ang nerdy boy na nakatanaw lamang kanina sa nangyayari.
