YASHI'S POV
As I stepped inside, my eyes landed on my best friends-no, my sisters. A smile tugged at my lips as I saw them sitting together, waiting for me.
"Tum log yahan?" I asked, surprised.
"Humne tujhe message kiya tha na," Riya replied casually.
"Haan pata hai, idiot... par maine socha tum log shaam ko aaoge," I said, raising an eyebrow.
Vaishnavi smirked. "Tere dimaag ne kaam kab se karna shuru kar diya? Aur kisne bola tujhe ki tere paas dimaag hai?"
"Chup kar, pagal aurat!" I shot back playfully.
Samriddhi pouted. "Arey, itne din baad mile hain, kam se kam ek achi si jhappi toh de de!"
I smiled and walked toward them, and soon, we were all wrapped in our famous group hug, laughing like old times.
Just as we pulled away, Shruti looked around eagerly. "Where is my Aashvi?" she asked, scanning the room.
I pouted. "Tu meri best friend hai ya Aashvi ki?"
"Areyyy, chaman ladki! Of course, I am... Aashvi ki best friend!" she teased, making me pout even more.
"Ab bata, kaha hai meri jaan?" she insisted.
Before I could answer, Vaishnavi spoke. "Arey, school gayi hogi na, pagal insaan!"
The moment she mentioned school, my smile faltered, and I felt tears welling up in my eyes.
Riya immediately noticed. "Kya hua, Yashi?" she asked, pulling me into a hug. "Tu thik hai na? Bata, kya hua?"
Samriddhi frowned. "Tu ro kyu rahi hai, Yashi?"
I quickly wiped my tears and forced a smile. "Kuch nahi, guys. Tum log living room me baitho, main abhi kuch lekar aati hoon."
Shruti narrowed her eyes. "Kya hua baklol? Itni udaas kyu lag rahi hai? Bata de, tujhe Aashvi ki kasam!"
That was it. I couldn't hold it in any longer. Tears streamed down my face as I broke down completely. "Mujhe nahi pata main itni weak kyun hoon... main ek achi maa bhi nahi ban pa rahi... mujhe lagta hai main bas ek loser hoon."
I told them everything, and the next thing I saw was Shruti and Riya's furious expressions.
"How dare she say such a thing to Aashvi?!" Shruti fumed, her fists clenched.
"I swear, main uspe case file karwa dungi!" Riya added, her voice filled with rage.
"Calm down, guys... Hum baad mein baat karenge," I tried to pacify them.
Just then, the doorbell rang. I knew it was my baby.
Before I could go, Vaishnavi rushed to open the door. And then... BOOM!
"What the hell are you doing here with my baby?!" Vaishnavi shouted.
Shreyansh looked equally irritated. "Mujhe yeh puchna chahiye ki tum meri friend ke ghar kya kar rahi ho?"
Vaishnavi folded her arms. "Hello, excuse me! Tumhari friend ka ghar baad mein, yeh pehle meri best friend ka ghar hai!"
Shreyansh scoffed. "You idiot-"
"CHUP RAHO AAP LOG!" Aashvi suddenly shouted, making both of them freeze. "Are you guys kids or what? Yeh kya baccho jaise lad rahe ho?"
Shreyansh protested. "But Aashvi, it was all her mistake!"
Vaishnavi glared. "Meri mistake?! Sab tumhari mistake hai!"
Aashvi groaned. "Bas kar do dono! Finger on your lips! Ooho, bhagwan, kaise bacche hain yeh dono... ab inhe bhi mujhe sambhalna padega!"
