Third PERSON POV
IN EVENING
Yashi was getting ready to go to the hospital, but deep down, she didn't want to go. She kept wasting time by putting on different dresses, only to take them off again, making excuses that she didn't like any of them.
Adarsh, who had been waiting for over an hour, finally lost his patience. His voice was cold as he said, "Yashi, it has been more than an hour. Stop this drama right now."
Yashi pouted, making a cute face. "But Adarsh, I'm not finding a comfortable dress... I think we should go tomorrow instead. I'll find a dress tonight."
Adarsh saw right through her excuses and remained strict. "Nice try, but we are going today. And that too, right now." Without giving her another chance to argue, he took her hand and dragged her downstairs.
Aashvi was sitting on the couch, engrossed in cartoons on a mobile phone.
"Adarsh, at least let me change," Yashi pleaded.
"No need. You're fine as you are," he responded firmly.
"But-"
"Keep quiet, Yashi. Not a single word from your mouth." His tone was cold and strict, leaving no room for negotiation.
Walking up to Aashvi, Adarsh gently picked her up in his arms while still holding Yashi's hand.
"I'll give you my phone later, baby girl," he promised.
"Okay, doctor uncle," Aashvi responded sweetly.
They left the house and got into the car.
Yashi looked sad, as if she would break down in tears at any moment. Noticing her distress, Adarsh squeezed her hand reassuringly, silently telling her that everything would be fine.
Meanwhile, Aashvi, unaware of where they were headed, simply stared out of the window.
AT THE HOSPITAL
As they reached the hospital, Aashvi looked around in confusion.
"Why are we here, Mumma? Are you not feeling well?" she asked innocently.
Hearing her daughter's words, Yashi felt a lump in her throat. Tears welled up in her eyes at the thought of what was about to happen.
Before she could respond, Adarsh stepped out of the car, carrying Aashvi in his arms.
"Just some work, baby," he said softly.
Aashvi nodded hesitantly and buried her face in his neck.
Yashi followed them inside, and Adarsh firmly held her hand, guiding her straight to his cabin.
The moment they stepped in, Adarsh called out sharply, "Nurse Nae! Nurse Nae!"
A nurse quickly entered. "Yes, sir?"
"Take Miss Yashi to my second cabin and send Dr. Rahul here."
Yashi's eyes widened in shock. "Adarsh, how can I-?"
"Do you trust me?" he asked, cutting her off.
"Yes, I do..." she admitted hesitantly.
"Then just step out, Yashi. Don't worry, Aashvi is my daughter too."
Yashi hesitated, looking at her little girl. Finally, with a nod, she turned and walked out of the room.
Adarsh knew Yashi was terrified of injections. If she saw Aashvi getting vaccinated, she would panic and refuse to take her own shots. He wanted to ensure everything went smoothly.
