NEXT MORNING
ADARSH POV
I woke up early, as usual. Being a doctor isn't an easy job. As I blinked the sleep away, my gaze fell on the two most beautiful girls in my life, sleeping peacefully beside me. Yashi and Aashvi-my world.
A soft smile played on my lips as I admired their serene faces, but my moment of peace was short-lived when a realization hit me-I forgot to inform Maa that I was staying at the hospital overnight. But I'm sure Bhai must have handled it, I reassured myself. At least, that's one thing he can do properly, right?
Still half-asleep, I reached for my phone, only to see 20+ missed calls from Maa. Never mind, I sighed. Bhai can't even do one thing right. Without wasting another second, I dialed her number.
"Adarsh... Tu hospital mein hai?" Maa's worried voice came through.
"Haan Maa... and don't worry, I had my food."
"But why are you still at the hospital? Kuch hua hai?"
"Nahi Maa, bas kuch cases ki wajah se rukna pada."
"Hmm... Acha, ye sab chhodo. Jaldi ghar aa ja, tera bhai ki shaadi pakki ho gayi hai. Next week!"
"I know, Maa. Aap chinta mat kariye, I'll be back by night. Bye."
"Accha, okay. Bye and take care."
I ended the call and turned back to find Yashi awake, scrolling through her phone.
"How many times have I told you not to use your phone early in the morning?" I scolded her in a strict tone.
She looked up at me and pouted, making me chuckle. But I quickly pulled my stern face back and walked toward her.
"It won't work, Yashi," I leaned closer, my voice turning husky. "Especially not right now. Next time if you pout like this, I won't hesitate to kiss it."
Her eyes widened as she gulped, and I smirked at her flustered face. Within seconds, she pushed me away.
"Eww... don't even think about it! Go and brush first, your mouth stinks!" she wrinkled her nose dramatically.
"Excuse me, it does not!" I argued.
"Yes, it does. Now go, you dirty boy!"
Rolling my eyes, I shot her a glare before heading toward the bathroom.

Third PERSON POV
Yashi glanced at her sleeping daughter and pressed a gentle kiss on her forehead.
"Good morning, Mumma," Aashvi murmured sleepily.
"Good morning, mera baccha. Did you sleep well?" Yashi asked softly.
Aashvi blinked her eyes open and looked around. "Yes, Mumma... Mumma, where is Doctor Uncle?"
Before Yashi could respond, Adarsh walked in, a bright smile on his face.
"Morning, my little monkey!" he greeted.
Aashvi instantly jumped out of bed and ran toward him.
"Good morning, Doctor Uncle! Where were you?"
"I was just in the bathroom... brushing my teeth," he said, throwing a glare at Yashi, who gave him a cheeky smile in return.
Suddenly, the door swung open, revealing the entire group-Shruti, Vaishnavi, Samriddhi, and Rudransh.
Adarsh's eyes widened. "Tum sab yahan... woh bhi early morning? Kyun?"
Vaishnavi rolled her eyes. "Good morning to you too, Adarsh," she said with a sarcastic smile. "We came to meet Aashvi."
