Third PERSON POV

As soon as Shreyansh left, Adarsh let out a relieved sigh and muttered, "Finally, yeh bandar gaya..."

However, before he could relax, Yashi's voice rang through the room. "Tumne jhooth kyun bola?"

Adarsh nearly jumped in surprise. "Aaaah! Tum mujhe maarne ka iraada rakhti ho kya?" he accused dramatically.

Yashi rolled her eyes. "Dramaybaaz," she muttered under her breath before crossing her arms. "Mujhe yeh batao ki tumne Shreyansh se jhooth kyun bola? Kya main sach mein kal subah tak nahi uthne wali?"

Adarsh stuttered, "Jhooth... vo... vo..." struggling to find an excuse.

Yashi raised an eyebrow, waiting. "Vo aage bhi kuch bolna pasand karoge ya bas haklate rahoge?"

Adarsh finally sighed. "Mujhe laga tum aaram kar rahi ho... so I thought ki vo tumhe disturb kar dega. Isiliye."

Yashi chuckled at his excuse. She knew very well-her Adarsh was jealous.

Shaking off the moment, Adarsh changed the subject. "Accha, yeh sab chhodo. Batao, how are you feeling?"

"Much better. Kab ja sakti hoon ghar?" she asked hopefully.

Adarsh smirked. "I don't know. Pehle tumhari blood report check karni hogi."

Yashi pouted. "Kyun?"

Adarsh laughed. "Stop your drama, drama queen."

Yashi huffed. "Aashvi kya kar rahi hogi? Woh mujhe dhundh rahi hogi ya mera intezaar kar rahi hogi... mujhe abhi jaana hoga!" she exclaimed dramatically.

Before Adarsh could respond, the door opened, revealing Shruti and Rudransh.

Shruti chuckled. "Don't worry. Aashvi bilkul thik hai, aur nahi, woh tumhe dhundh nahi rahi. Uski teen masi maa usse water park le gayi hain."

Yashi instantly frowned. "Masi maa ki chamchi," she muttered under her breath.

Shruti raised an eyebrow. "Kuch bola tumne?"

Yashi quickly diverted. "Arey, Rudransh jiju! How are you?"

"I'm good, Yashi. Tum kaise ho? Aur yeh mera bhai tumhe zyada pareshaan toh nahi kar raha, batao?" Rudransh asked playfully.

Yashi pouted dramatically. "Bohot zyada pareshaan kar raha hai, jiju! Dekho, isne mera khoon tak le liya, jaise koi machhar ho!" she whined, pointing at her bandage.

Rudransh burst into laughter. "Machhar nahi, makkhi hai yeh!"

"Bilkul sahi bole!" Yashi laughed along, while Adarsh just rolled his eyes, watching them gang up on him.

Shruti intervened with a fake stern voice. "Bas karo, tum dono! Bechara kitna innocent hai!"

Adarsh instantly beamed. "Thank God! Kam se kam koi toh meri side le raha hai! Scold them more, Shruti bhabhi!"

Yashi scoffed. "Yeh insaan tumhe innocent lag raha hai?"

Adarsh gasped. "Arey, main toh bilkul innocent hoon!"

Yashi rolled her eyes. "Tum na-"

Before she could complete her sentence, Shruti interrupted. "Guys, we have a good news for you both!"

Adarsh perked up. "What?"

Yashi, being Yashi, blurted out, "Are you pregnant?"

All three slapped their foreheads in disbelief, while Shruti turned red in embarrassment.

Adarsh quickly countered, "Tumhe lagta hai yeh pregnant ho sakti hai? Yeh log abhi tak shaadi bhi nahi kare!"

Yashi shrugged. "Toh kya? Woh matter nahi karta."

Adarsh pursed his lips, "Baat toh sahi hai," he muttered, making Shruti glare at him.

Shruti quickly clarified. "Tum dono apna dimaag mat lagao! The good news is that... WE ARE GETTING MARRIED! Aur Yashi, pehle hi bata du, me and Rudransh ki shaadi ki baat ho rahi hai!"

Adarsh grinned. "Really? That's great!" He immediately hugged Rudransh. "Congratulations, big bro!"

Yashi, however, sat frozen, taking a moment to process the news.

Shruti frowned. "Kya hua? Tum khush nahi ho?"

Yashi suddenly pouted. "Aap log bas yeh badi news dene aaye, bina sweets ke? Kyun?"

The three sighed in frustration.

Rudransh shook his head. "Theek hai, theek hai. Jaise hi tum hospital se niklogi, tumhare liye bohot saari mithai laaunga. Happy?"

Yashi's face instantly lit up. "Very happy!"

Shruti smiled and hugged her. "You both are the first ones we are telling this news."

Yashi grinned. "Oho, lucky us! Accha hai... ab Aashvi ko bhi ek sibling mil jayega!" she added innocently.

Shruti, who had just taken a sip of water, choked and spat it out-right on Rudransh.

"Tu kuch zyada door ka nahi soch rahi?" Shruti coughed.

Yashi blinked. "Nahi toh... Jiju, main sahi keh rahi hoon na?"

Rudransh, still processing the conversation, simply nodded. Meanwhile, Adarsh struggled to hold back his laughter.

Trying to move on from the unexpected turn of conversation, Rudransh said, "Acha, yeh sab chhodo. Shaadi agle hafte hai, aur bohot saari tayariyaan baaki hain!"

Shruti sighed. "Tayariyaan baaki hain? Humne ab tak shuru bhi nahi kiya!"

Adarsh agreed. "Baat toh sahi hai... waise bhai, ek sawaal poochna tha."

Rudransh nodded. "Pucho."

Adarsh smirked. "Aapki assistant mujhe subah se 10 baar call kar chuki hai. Koi khaas wajah?"

Hearing this, Shruti instantly turned to glare at Rudransh.

Rudransh panicked. "Mujhe kaise pata hoga? Subah se toh main tumhare saath hi tha!"

Shruti narrowed her eyes. "Adarsh, call uthao aur speaker pe daal do."

ADARSH OBEDIENTLY PICKED UP THE PHONE AND PUT IT ON SPEAKER.

"Hello, sir," came the assistant's voice. "Main Rudransh sir ki assistant bol rahi hoon."

"Haan bolo," Adarsh replied.

"Sir, mujhe bas yeh puchna tha ki Rudransh sir aaj office kyun nahi aaye?"

Adarsh casually answered, "Unhe kuch important kaam tha, isiliye."

The assistant hesitated. "Ohh, theek hai, sir. Mujhe bas unki chinta ho rahi thi. Unka phone bhi switch off bata raha hai..."

Before she could say another word, Shruti coldly cut in. "Unki chinta karne ke liye unki patni zinda hai. Tum apna kaam karo, zyada oversmart banne ki zarurat nahi hai."

AND WITH THAT, SHE CUT THE CALL AND STORMED OUT OF THE ROOM.

Rudransh gulped. "Abhi toh main gaya!" he muttered before quickly following her.

As soon as the door shut, Yashi and Adarsh burst into uncontrollable laughter.
