Third PERSON POV

IN NIGHT

Yashi lay on her hospital bed, scrolling through her phone after taking her medicine. The quiet hum of the night was interrupted when the door suddenly swung open, and a small, excited figure ran inside.

"Mumma!" Aashvi's joyful voice echoed in the room as she rushed toward her mother.

Yashi's face lit up at the sight of her little girl. She quickly sat up, gathering Aashvi onto her lap, holding her close as if she never wanted to let go.

"Mera baccha... I missed you sooooo much," she murmured, pressing a loving kiss on her daughter's forehead.

"I missed you moreeee!" Aashvi giggled, wrapping her tiny arms around her mother's neck.

Yashi pulled back slightly, pouting. "Aacha? Then why didn't you call me, huh?"

Aashvi gasped, as if realizing her mistake. "Areyy, voh toh, Mumma... we went to the water park na! I forgot! Sorry!" She quickly held her ears in an adorable apology.

Yashi chuckled, shaking her head. "It's fine, baccha. Did you have fun at the water park?"

Aashvi's face brightened. "Yes, Mumma! A lot! You know, I even met Shreyansh uncle today!"

Yashi raised a curious brow. "Oh really? That's nice... but who brought you here?"

"With Riya, Vaishnavi, and Samriddhi masi maa. They're outside with Shruti masi maa," Aashvi explained, her little hands moving animatedly.

Yashi nodded, then eyed her daughter sternly. "Did you have your lunch?"

Aashvi nodded eagerly. "Yes, Mumma! Don't worry. But... Mumma, why are you in the hospital?" Her cheerful voice turned soft, laced with concern. "Are you not fine?"

Yashi caressed her daughter's face reassuringly. "I'm totally fine, meri jaan. Mumma just needs a little rest, that's all."

Before they could continue, the door opened again, revealing the four girls-Riya, Vaishnavi, Samriddhi, and Shruti-along with Rudransh and, of course, Adarsh.

The moment Aashvi spotted Adarsh, her eyes sparkled. "Doctor Uncleee!" she squealed in excitement before jumping off Yashi's lap and running straight into his arms.

Adarsh laughed, catching her effortlessly. "Aashviiii!" he mimicked her dramatic tone. "Don't jump like that, you little monkey!"

Aashvi giggled as Adarsh playfully ruffled her hair. She turned to her mother, her excitement bubbling over. "Mumma, he's your doctor?"

Yashi nodded with a smile.

Aashvi gasped in excitement. "Mumma, he is very good! Very, very sweet! He is the best! He even saved me from my teacher that day!"

Yashi's heart swelled as she watched them together. She had never imagined seeing her daughter and Adarsh like this-so close, so natural, like they belonged together. And Adarsh... he was just staring at Aashvi with pure adoration, as if she was the most precious thing in the world.

Aashvi, still brimming with enthusiasm, turned back to Adarsh. "Doctor Uncleee, I will introduce you to everyone!"

She pointed at each person. "The one sitting is my best Mumma! She is Riya masi maa, she is Vaishnavi masi maa, then Samriddhi masi maa, and then Shruti masi maa!"

Adarsh grinned. "Oh wow, thank you so much, Aashvi, for that adorable introduction." He leaned down and kissed her tiny nose.

Aashvi giggled, but then her eyes fell on Rudransh, who stood beside Shruti, smiling at her. Without hesitation, she blurted out, "Aap Shruti masi maa ke boyfriend ho na?"
