It was the day of the flight, but Clyde and her friends had fully decided that it would be a better idea for them to go shopping. Well, Clyde actually had no choice but to simply join them, because she desperately needed Leo to drive her to the airport tonight.

And honestly, Clyde would prefer to die than do that ever again. They kept bringing Clyde to stores that mainly played Taylor Swift songs, and actually made her look through store displays and items that only had her albums. It was like being dragged into hell.

But after that agonizing shopping trip, they all finally returned to Clyde's apartment. They were each holding shopping bags as they walked inside, either leaving them by the couch or exhaustedly taking them into the kitchen before relaxing in the living room.

Clyde took the time organizing every food item they bought before actually checking the time, knowing she hadn't packed anything yet. She grabbed her phone out of her pocket and took a brief glance, before her eyes immediately widened in panic.

She quickly went into the living room, seeing her friends either sprawled across the couch or on the carpet. It was very clear that they were beginning to doze off, but Clyde was not having any of that. She needed to pack her luggage now, and she needed help.

"Can y'all help me pack?" Clyde said, "I literally have to leave in five hours."

For some reason, that instantly made her friends sit up, looking at her like she was crazy and stupid. Clyde only waved her hands in panic, trying to get them to briefly understand the severity of the situation. And they knew, since it wasn't often that she needed help.

Kate groaned, "Clyde..."

"You, guys, were the ones who wanted to go to the store!" Clyde replied.

"Where are your bags?" Leo asked.

"In my room."

And each of her friends let out a grumble, but followed her into her bedroom, anyway. The room was cluttered and messy, with her small suitcase and backpack on the floor. Clyde speedily sat down by her luggage, folding and reorganizing some clothes.

"Okay? What do you need help for?" Kate asked.

"I don't know if this is enough," Clyde explained, "I also don't know what to bring."

"Well, how long are you gonna be there, anyway?"

"Two weeks. Don't worry, my shift is getting covered by—"

Before Clyde could even finish her sentence, her face was forcefully hit with a pillow. And it didn't take Clyde much thinking before concluding that it was obviously Kate who threw it at her. She immediately retaliated by throwing it back, hitting Kate's stomach.

"How the fuck were you the number one student and not Leo? He's a lawyer!"

"I'm just the smartest person on this planet." Clyde smiled playfully.

"Wasted potential," Beatrice jokingly butted in.

"I know. But I just don't wanna waste the rest of my life in an office. Sorry, Leo."

When Clyde got her face hit by another pillow, she gave up and continued organizing her things. Her friends kneeled by her suitcase, trying to see whatever she had packed inside and figure out what other things she needed. It didn't take long before they did, though.

The three didn't really help much, because Clyde had properly packed most of what she needed. Clyde only needed a few more things here and there, thankfully, because two of her best friends became extremely distracted and bored once an hour passed.
