After actual hours of packing, waiting, and hoping to see Taylor again once she was back in New York City, Clyde had arrived. And to say that Clyde was excited would literally be a complete understatement. She was more than just excited to be back.

She was finally going to be with her best friends again, and she couldn't wait to see their happy faces when they found out that she had actually gotten them the autographs they really wanted. Clyde was definitely looking forward to that moment the most.

Well, maybe not as much as the possibility of seeing Taylor again.

Honestly, Clyde didn't know what happened during those two weeks she was in Nashville. She was with Taylor and mended their relationship; fixed her old car, that she truly hoped to bring to New York City; and, she began wanting to see Taylor every day.

The last part was the one that Clyde was confused about. She was even more confused about that than the different events that occurred within the brief span of fourteen days, which said a whole lot. It was genuinely so unforeseen and unexpected.

Clyde didn't expect to feel that way again without complete anger creeping into the back of her mind, and it was kind of surprising. Clyde just couldn't believe that she had missed Taylor so much, that she felt like she needed to see her daily now that she could.

And she had gotten so used to visiting Taylor whenever she wanted to, even during the oddest times, that she really forgot that she couldn't do that anywhere else. There was no way that Taylor would let her, specially with the possibility of getting caught.

There was already a video of them on the internet, one that Clyde definitely wasn't sure was completely scrubbed off, so she didn't want to take any chances unless Taylor said so. Clyde trusted herself, anyway, she just needed Taylor's permission first.

Plus, they were just friends. Who cared if they wanted to hang out together?

A smile crept onto Clyde's face as she pulled her suitcase off the carousel and wheeled it off, looking for her friends. She scanned the crowds for a moment before she saw a dumb sign in the hands of a familiar face, and she quietly grumbled to herself.

Embarrassment speedily flooded Clyde's system, but she couldn't help but feel warm all over. She ran to her best friends and grimaced as they stupidly dashed to her, causing a few prying eyes to direct their gazes onto them, watching their childish antics.

"Hey, guys," Clyde chuckled, smiling softly.

"Why does it feel like we haven't seen you in so long?" Leo asked.

"Because I was gone for two weeks, and you're not used to that."

"Welcome back to New York City," Kate said.

Clyde nodded in response, watching as Leo rolled the paper sign into a long tube before tucking it under his arm. They didn't wait before pulling Clyde into a group hug, and they waited for a few lengthy moments before they collectively decided to pull away.

"I got something in my backpack for you," Clyde announced.

"Oh, my god—"

"Don't tell me—"

"I did." And the smile that took over Clyde's face was almost amusing to see.

Kate let out a small squeal, followed by Leo, and Clyde simply laughed at their reactions. It was almost as good as what she had expected, and it actually got better once the two grabbed each other's hand and started jumping from absolute happiness.

Beatrice was just smiling beside them, and Clyde nodded towards her before grinning. A bout of excitement ran through Clyde's veins, and she steadily muttered out a few words telling her friends to calm down before tapping Kate's and Leo's shoulders.
