Honestly, Clyde doesn't think it will eventually get better. It has been actual weeks since Taylor broke up with her, and the wound feels like it has just been cut. She doesn't know what to do with herself now that she isn't hanging out with Taylor daily.

Clyde simply finds it so hard to get used to such a big change, especially because she always feels the most comfortable whenever she is with Taylor. Everything just feels off without Taylor around, even just eating lunch in the cafeteria with her friends.

She can't even stop thinking about Taylor, which is constantly causing her stomach to churn agonizingly. It is probably the most unbearable thing Clyde has ever experienced, and there is absolutely nothing she can do to prevent it from happening.

Well, Clyde has one idea, and it may just be her stupidest plan yet.

Does Clyde think it won't go the way she expects? No, but there is definitely a chance for everything to go horribly wrong at the last second. But she really doubts that, as she has already finished and achieved the hardest part of her plan a few days ago.

Three days ago, on a Saturday, Clyde has decided to visit the Swift residence. Taylor has been out with her friends for the entire day, so Clyde has simply decided that it will be the best time to come over, because she doesn't have to actually see Taylor.

She has gone there to have a brief talk with Taylor's father, and it honestly feels like that moment has just managed to settle into her mind. It almost feels as if Clyde has blacked out the entire time she is there, and she can't exactly blame herself.

That has really got to be one of the scariest, most nerve-wracking things Clyde has ever experienced, and she isn't even trying to be dramatic. It is literally her first time having a conversation with Taylor's father that is longer than a single, frightening minute.

Clyde has also spoken to her own parents, ranting and rambling about not knowing what she needs to do next. They have told her to try talking to Taylor, which makes Clyde think that they really don't understand the type of emotions she is currently feeling.

She has taken their advice, though, which is why Clyde is currently walking around and mumbling slightly panicked, calming words to herself. She is nervously standing outside Taylor's classroom and patiently waiting for her to finally step outside.

It has honestly taken Clyde multiple days to even muster up the courage to do this. But Clyde misses Taylor so damn much, that she knows that she will regret it so much if she just doesn't take the chance. Besides, it isn't like it can go extremely horribly.

There is probably a limit on how badly this can go, and Clyde is hoping that she's totally right about that. Clyde will definitely not know what to do if Taylor rejects her, especially after doing the frightening task of talking to her father and asking for help.

But, a huge part of Clyde knows that Taylor won't hurt her again.

From the words her best friends have heard and told her, Clyde is sure that Taylor also wants to get back together. And while Clyde can barely stomach the thought that they have even broken up in the first place, this is better than truly losing each other.

Suddenly, the bell rings, and Clyde is brought out of her anxious thoughts. She looks up from the floor and swiftly presses her lips into a thin line to silence herself, watching the students rush out of the classroom as if they are trying to escape a prison.

Clyde gets on the tips of her toes to search for Taylor, and when the familiar curly, blonde hair enters her view, she smiles happily. She doesn't move from her spot and simply waits for Taylor to come closer, feeling her heart pound as it starts skipping beats.
