"You have a lot of nerve existing in my world," I heard Jared shout.
Two figures were portrayed, Jared donning a pure white attire, his usual form left behind only wearing a pair of shorts and a simple T-shirt. While his body was cloaked in white, his features were still distinguishable, but quite difficult to see.
The voice in the darkness was the opposite of him, cloaked in pitch black, no distinguishable features besides two white eyes that seemed to stare through one's soul.
"You believe that I am the unwelcome one, when it is you who feeds on this world's energy." A voice in the darkness refuted.
"Please, I don't need a fraction of rift energy to function anymore. I've amassed enough time to perfect and optimize my power consumption." Jared retorted.
"Lies, you still require a large sum of energy to function, you just don't want to admit it to yourself."
"Regardless of myself, you know why I'm here, so, you gonna accommodate my request?"
"It depends on the host, not the exigence." The voice said.
The bickering pair started to where I stood, and gazed intently.
"Black, Chaos managed to kill you, so I guess, sorry for your loss?" Jared stitched together, "But... you got a second chance here. This guy over here," He said, motioning to the pair of white eyes, "he can bring you back, so it's your choice, you can live the remainder of your life as cosmic dust, or get some quirky new power and stop my sister."
"What's the cost for this second chance?" I responded.
"A part of you," The voice muttered.
"What do you mean, "A part of you," I staunchly retorted.
"Anything, it could be an arm, or even a leg, moreover, it could be a dream, a wish, a memory, or even a personality trait. All of those are parts of you, it doesn't have to be purely good, or purely bad, and it can completely depend on your vision of it, I just don't guarantee that you'll be yourself without that part." The voice prefaced.
"It's all up to you Black, but I need you to stop Chaos. She's a detriment to my whole plan to stop Allistar, if the Ageloids on my side fail to stop her, then we lose the entire conglomeration of universes." Jared somberly said.
"She's your sister, don't you care about her?"
"It is exactly because she is my sister that I must be a part of the reason she is stopped."
"I'll do it," I resolved.
"Perfect, what part of you do you wish to give?"
___________________________________________________________________
Achos was slammed through several streets. He was durable enough to put up a solid fight against Chaos, but still unable to last against her onslaught. Every time he would get back up, he would be met by an incredulous hit that sent him back down. By now, just under half the city was in shambles. Cityfolk attempted to leave to the outskirts of their home, but the calamitous clash ultimately cost them their lives. Achos attempted to direct the confrontation elsewhere, but each and every hit he took would still inadvertently kill several people, even if that wasn't his intention, or his end goal. The pair swung about, Achos occasionally managing to land a good hit on Chaos, but being utterly demolished and outclassed most of the time. She was powerful, too powerful to comprehend. Not to mention, she hadn't even put 100% into this fight yet. But to be fair, Achos hadn't either.
Achos narrowly dodged two quick strikes from her blades, and then just barely ducked under a high kick, only to be hit by a punch to the gut. He was sent reeling down into the subway tunnels, and quickly met by a train's impact. Chaos followed suit, and inevitably, the train's passengers were torn apart. She kicked Achos down the subway tunnels, watching in pure bliss as he was sent flying into train after train. He would get up only to be sent once more, crashing into more and more on the way. This was a battle of attrition, a war of blood, and Achos was the loser.
Once again, Achos stood up, his resolve never faltering, but his body did. Achos was sauntering, he was tired, hurt badly, his right eye was swollen, his left was barely able to see through, and he was shaky at best. Regardless of the fact, he continued to stand, to fight. Chaos flew in close, and easily avoided a pathetic jab from him, before punching him into another subway train, clearing a path for her to slowly waltz.
"Y'know, when you said, "Final Round," I actually thought you had something going for you," Chaos laughed, kicking the boy once again down the tunnel. "But no, you're still the same unimpressive Achos you always were."
"What... What do you know about unimpressive?" Achos stuttered before being met with a punch to the gut, sending him once more down the tunnels.
Achos got up again, and continued his remark.
"You, a girl who-" He took a moment to cough out some blood, "a girl who was so pathetic, the moment the only person she cared about was gone, flew too close to the sun to save him." After this remark, Achos was once more launched down the tunnel yet again.
"What about you Achos? You spent years trying to reach a level that Jared did in a single day, you spent decades perfecting techniques he mastered in an hour, you spent centuries mastering weapons he did in minutes. You'll never be as good as him. You'll never be as strong as him. You'll never be like him." Chaos remarked, hitting him over and over, but never letting him launch off.
"I don't care about being like him," Achos smirked, his hands clasping Chaos's shoulders, "I care about following the path he leads."
Instantly, Chaos was hit by a hefty headbutt, sending her back a slight step or two. Achos followed through with an uppercut that sent her straight into the ceiling of the tunnel, and then hit her with a jab as soon as she fell to the ground. Chaos was launched back, impacting the wall of the subway tunnel, but as quickly as she went down, she stood back up.
"That's it?" She laughed, "I didn't feel a thing." She smiled, dusting off her clothes.
Achos smiled at her cocky attitude, and soon, Chaos realized his smile.
"What's so entertaining?" The girl snarkily spoke.
"The train behind you." Achos responded, landing a kick on her, and sending her flying into the speeding subway train.
As quick as he could, Achos got off the subway track, and watched as Chaos was flung down the tunnels of the subway.
'I'm sorry Mio, I gotta do it again,' he thought to himself.
Slowly, Achos walked forward into a nearby pool of blood. He absorbed the crimson substance, and slowly his wounds healed.
We see a younger Achos walk into a strange barracks. From there, several faces, old and new, welcome him. Among them, one in particular catches his attention. A boy with silver hair, Delta. He was socializing with his partner, Lambda, a blonde, but as quickly as Achos had entered the room, he had dropped the conversation and ran over to the dual red-black haired boy.
"Hey Sigma, what's up?" Delta smiled.
"Just tired, training is hard man," Achos smiled back.
"I feel ya, Silver is a slave driver when it comes to training."
"Delta, get back here, I wasn't done talking to you," Lambda shouted.
"I was," Delta responded laughing.
Immediately, the girl started running to catch the pair, thankfully, Achos had enough energy to quickly close up the hallway using Delta's blood.
"Something on your mind Sigma?" Delta asked.
"It's Phi," Achos soberly stated, "I think there's something wrong with her."
"It's- uh nothing," Delta said quickly.
"Spit it out Delta, I know you're hiding something."
"No really, it's nothing." He ushered.
"Delta, tell me." Achos pushed.
"Fine, Phi, Iota, Zeta, myself, and Gamma are all gonna sneak out, Phi's got some added pressure though cause y'know, Origin class and all," Delta elaborated.
"What about you then, you're an Organ class too." Achos steadfastly presented.
"Well... I... honestly, I can't give you any reason other than, "I don't really care." Delta reiterated.
"What's the point of sneaking out?"
"Simple, tonight, the Archons star will shine. It's a brilliant green star that is somehow immune to blushifting. We wanna see it." Delta said, his eyes glowing a brilliant green.
"Why wasn't I invited?"
"Cause the last time we went out, we got caught because you and Lambda couldn't stop arguing." Delta sweatdropped.
"And is Lambda going this time?"
"Hell nah, she and I are purely accomplices via work, nothing else." Delta prefaced.
"Then why wasn't I invited?"
Quickly Delta said a quick "Meet us in my room at 17:00," and disappeared.
'I remember that night well, it wasn't just the star that I loved, it was the people that I went with. I started getting close with all of the Ageloids. Slowly, Delta drifted apart from us. He got closer and closer to Lambda, and eventually, he brought home a new Ageloid, Chaos. But we were always friends, he just didn't have as much time to stay close with us. Beta, Alpha, and him were always sent out doing Allistars busy work. That was until one day.'
"Allistar... you killed her," Delta spoke in disbelief.
Before the pair, Phi's body freshly killed lay. Her white hair now tainted red thanks to the mass of blood beneath her. Her white dress was untouched, only being slightly stained by the blood.
"It's alright Delta, this is what she deserved." Allistar reassured.
"For what? She didn't do anything." Delta said, bordering tears.
"Didn't do anything yet. I discovered plans for a rebellion in her drawer, only time would tell of her plans." Allistar smiled kindly.
From afar, Achos watched the conflict, swearing his revenge on the pair. Phi, or how she liked to be known, Mio, was a sister to him, and Jared had just let her die.
"No, I see, this was her plan all along..." Delta said, drying his eyes, and then smiling resolutely.
"How do you figure?" Allistar asked Delta.
"Because this was her plan," Delta responded, "The entire reason why I joined the origin class group was to keep my friends safe, but now, with one compromised, I don't need to stay here. I'm the crux of this rebellion."
'That night was known as "the night in hell." Delta gave up his name, and instead selected "Jared." With his new name, he destroyed everything, none of Allistars supplicants were left over, and the Ageloids were all scattered. Slowly, Jared brought back all of us, he found all our locations, and all our wishes. Everyone forgave him. He probably gave them the same excuse he used that night. Regardless, I didn't trust him. He was still the reason why Mio had died, but I came to the realization once I read her note she left behind.'
"Achos, I want to talk, and I get it if you don't want to talk to me, but maybe you'll want to read Mio's note," Jared shouted, keeping his distance to give me space.
I ushered for him to get closer, which he did, and then steadily, I ripped the note out of his hand.
"Achos, I wrote these to everyone, maybe to hide my guilt of telling you my plan when I was alive, or maybe to give closure on my death. Truth be told, I needed to die, I'm a pawn in this game of chess. The end goal is Allistars demise, and there are several pieces that must be played, and sacrificed, to stop him. Of the many pieces, you'd be a knight, the most powerful, but also weakest piece. However, you yourself are important to this game, same thing goes with Iota, Gamma, Zeta, and even Delta. I'm sure you're mad at him. He needs to be there when I die, and you probably interpreted that as him killing me. Mark my words, Delta would rather die himself than let the Ageloids he swore to protect die. Allistar gave Delta a compromise the night after we saw the star, he would either spend all his time training and fighting for Allistars sake, or he would slowly watch his friends die. You can assume what he chose. I'm sorry.
As a bit of a parting gift, I want to give you some advice. You were born with two great gifts, blood absorption, and blood manipulation. In all honesty, you shouldn't use either. Delta and I were the first team of Ageloids. He was my senior, and taught me that blood isn't just the substance that makes our bodies work, it is a liquid of pain and agony. Blood in it of itself is the source of much hatred, anger, and pain, and it should not be used, even if in dire need, but hey, this is just the rambling of a former Ageloid, what would I know. Goodbye Sigma, it was nice knowing you.
-Mio."
Immediately upon reading her words, tears formed in my eyes. Needless to say, the old group got together once more, and our goal was to stop Allistar. In Jared's letter, a several step by step plan was made to ensure our success. But now here we are, Chaos went off the plan, and now Mio died in vain.
'I'm sorry Mio, I gotta do it again,' Achos thought to himself, the blood flowing into his former opened wounds.
Chaos came barreling down the subway tunnel, but was met by a swift right hook from Achos. She was flung onto a nearby wall, but she quickly touched it and bounced off, spiraling about in a blind attempt to strike her foe. Achos jumped, and upon coming down, stamped her into the ground. Now with her pinned, Achos raised both his hands up, both dripping with blood, and slammed them down in a hardened fist. A resounding "crack," was heard, and the crater that Chaos was pinned in sunk even deeper. Achos slammed and slammed, letting loose all his anger, and Chaos was no match for the poor boy. With every hit, her struggling ceased more and more, eventually stopping.
Achos slowly walked off the girl, looked up and smiled. He had won. Or so he thought.
"Pandora module activating... evolutionary module processing," Chaos spoke in a monotone voice.
Energy shockwaves fired off from her body, and slowly the subway tunnel began to cave on itself. Achos, unable to escape, was flung into the nearby wall by the exit stairs. Chaos continued to pulse with energy, the remainder of the tunnels finally falling down. Achos guarded the debris from above well, but it still managed to gnash up his hands and arms. Regardless, he continued to push back against the oncoming pulses. It was to no avail however. Soon, the pulses stopped, but Chaos stood back up, her head bleeder, her eyes bloodshot, and her heart, or where it should be, glowing a pretty green. She looked toward Achos, bloody, battered, and bruised, and cracked a sly smile. From her back, several green pulses flew off, and before he knew it, Achos was impaled from all sides from several blades. Quickly, he was flung afar, crashing through several of the dwindling upright buildings. Achos got up, but as soon as he did, yet another blade penetrated his abdomen. He spun around flinging Chaos into a building, but quickly, he was pierced yet again, a blade going through his hand. He saw Chaos, pulled his arm back, and flung the girl straight into his uppercut, which immediately let her off in prime cross kick position. After delivering a swift kick, Chaos disappeared into a green aura, and flew off somewhere. Before he could comprehend what happened, another Chaos appeared behind him, landing a spin kick, and sending him flying through the streets. He landed, skidding across the ground, and running his hand through a nearby pool of blood, healing his wounds. While blood allowed him to alleviate his pain, he couldn't get energy back from blood, so quickly, Achos was out of breath. Several Chaos's got within sight range of Achos, all laughing maniacally, before launching blade after blade at him Achos watched in anticipation at the several blades prepared to allow him to meet his demise when... nothing.
Achos quickly opened his eyes to see Iota. He and Iota were on the top of Epsilon tower. Looking down, he could see the city slowly collapsing. The rain continued to fall endlessly, and below, he could see several different Chaos's searching the city.
"What the hell happened?" Iota asked an out of breath Achos.
"We hit her hard, but every time we hit her, she stands back up." Achos responded, taking a few moments to catch his breath.
"Where's Zeta and Gamma?"
Achos pointed to a building on the southeast side of the city.
"Zeta's up there, he got knocked out 15 minutes ago." Achos then pointed down into the street. "Gamma clocked out down there, same time frame for him too.
Iota threw two golden knives at the locations Achos pointed out, and in an instant, the unconscious forms of the other two Ageloids took form behind them.
"They're pretty roughed up," Achos laughed. "Not that I blame them, Chaos is a hellspawn."
"Have you been able to find any weak points?" Iota asked, somewhat drastically.
"We find a weak point every 5 minutes, needless to say they don't stay for long." Achos nonchalantly dismissed.
"What do you mean?" Iota responded, a slight bit of fear cloaking her voice.
"I knocked her out just before you got here, she stayed out for maybe 20 seconds, but before I could do anything, I got blindsided, and now there's 7 of her."
The pair heard a quiet rumbling behind them. They looked back, and saw a conspicuous metal box. Slowly, the pair approached said box, and opened it up. As soon as they did, a familiar red head popped out.
"Where am I?" The girl spoke to herself.
"Taejichi," Iota responded.
The girl flinched for a moment at the presence of the pair, but then looked down at the ruin.
"It's broken though," She quietly spoke, "MY SISTERS!" She shouted, coming to a sudden realization.
"Chill girl," Achos said, his voice becoming serious. "If Chaos has you as a captive, you're useful. She's a maniac, but a smart one. I doubt she'd kill your family without good reason."
"What about Black, he was supposed to protect the city..." Itsuki said, tears beginning to form in her eyes, and fear cloaking her voice.
"I hate to tell you if you were close to him," Iota said, approaching the subject calmly.
"Blacks dead," Achos interrupted.
"What? No, that's impossible..." Itsuki reasoned, "He's too strong."
"Chaos was stronger. She killed him with ease, and now, she's turned to the city." Achos interjected once more.
"DON'T SAY THINGS LIKE THAT!" Itsuki shouted.
"Don't speak the truth?" An agitated Achos responded. "People have lost their lives today, you don't get to be a special snowflake because someone you cared about died."
Itsuki went silent. The pair of Iota and Achos looked off in the distance, Chaos was speeding about the city, tearing apart building by building. Even if she didn't kill Achos, the goal was to gain enough life energy to revive her brother. She crashed about, destroying building after building, the sturdy rock buildings falling apart like butter to a hot knife. Several Chaos's flew around, causing harm to the remaining civilians.
"How many people do you think are left?" Iota asked Achos.
"Maybe some odd 33,000? Hard to guess, Chaos is incredibly thorough when it comes to genocide." Achos laughed at the morbid joke.
"I found you two," a bloodthirsty Chaos maliciously smiled.
"Bitch!" A white haired boy shouted, punching Chaos down into the city.
"Who the hell are you?" Iota and Achos said in sync.
"Sam, Sam Fujitora." The figure spoke calmly. "I saw you and that unconscious pair getting your asses beat, and I just had to join in and help you out." Sam smiled.
"As if you could do anything against her," Achos spit back.
"I just di-" Sam tried to say, but he was immediately impaled by several blades from the many Chaos's.
"What an idiot," Achos facepalmed.
"Don't count me out yet," Sam grumbled.
Quickly, he spun around, and caused several of the Chaos's to collide with one another. Three of the Chaos's faded into the green energy, and then flew off toward the main Chaos. Sam's wounds quickly healed, and a large green scythe formed in his right hand.
"I don't wanna hear it," Sam said, flipping off Achos, "let's just kill her."
Achos and Sam quickly jumped into the city, rushing off to where the green energy had flown too. Quickly, the pair were met with 4 Chaos's. Sam rushed the two on the left, and Achos assaulted the two on the right. Four blades extended out to stab Sam. The latter raised his arms to guard, and was quickly impaled. He whirled around, slamming the pair of Chaos's to the ground, and then closed the gap on one, slamming an overhead haymaker into its skull. Green energy burst from the open wound, and the Chaos quickly lost form, and gathered to one of the two Achos was fighting. Sam launched himself at the next Chaos, landing a solid axe kick, but the girl caught his kick, and threw him into the nearby pile of debris.
Achos on the other hand dodged several blades from all directions. Quickly, he cut his wrist with a bit of glass from the street, and then formed a large javelin. He aimed at one of the Chaos's, but then in the last second, he twisted around, and pierced the stomach of the other Chaos. Slowly, the green energy formed into the opposite Chaos Achos was fighting. Achos once more formed another javelin from his blood, and thrust it at the remaining Chaos he had to duel. Quickly, Chaos dodged, and it slammed into the remaining Chaos Sam was facing down. Sam turned his attention to Achos, narrowed his eyes at the real Chaos, and then lunged in with his scythe. Chaos ducked her head down, avoiding the scythe, but then another large javelin came into her view. She quickly recalled her extended blades, parried the blow, and then landed a devastating uppercut to Achos's gut. Quickly, Achos fell over, clutching where the blow landed, meanwhile, Chaos once more avoided a large scythe crashing down in front of her. Instantly, Chaos spun around, and hit Sam with a flying kick that sent him crashing straight into several parked cars. He slammed into the array of vehicles with a "crash," and then the loud bang of several explosions rang out. Achos went for a dubious right hook on Chaos, but quickly, the girl avoided. Luckily for him, Achos had previously ran his wounded arm across the ground. Chaos had to step back to avoid his punch, but inadvertently stood on the blood. Achos quickly used his power to form chains, and bound Chaos to the ground where she stood. Chaos reeled back, attempting to break free, but she couldn't. Achos launched blow after blow on her, none of which avoidable seeing her current predicament. She raised her arms to guard, but Achos still managed to land good hits even with her guard raised. Chaos backstepped for a moment, and the chains faltered slightly. Upon the realization of their weakness, Chaos continued to put pressure, all the while keeping Achos preoccupied so he wouldn't see her escape. After a few seconds of extended pressure, the chains snapped from the ground, and Chaos was free to dart off. But just as quickly as she broke away, she was impaled and anchored to the ground by Sam's scythe. Chaos struggled, punching and kicking at the blade that penetrated her chest. Sam however didn't let her get out of this position. He kept the scythe embedded deep within her. Achos took this opportunity to hit her hard. He slammed both fists down, over and over, bludgeoning her as much as possible. Chaos fought hard, attempting to get out of the deathtrap, but slowly her struggling began to cease.
"We got her," Achos said, out of breath.
"Man, how did she get so tough?" Sam said, cracking a smile.
"Beats me, Jared probably put some really crazy steroids in her." Achos responded.
"I'm..." An out of breath Chaos whispered.
"Holy shit, she's still alive?" Sam spoke.
"I'M NOT DEAD YET!" Chaos screamed, shattering the blade of the scythe.
Dark energy flowed into Chaos, and several of the black triangular shards impaled themselves on Chaos. Chaos's body went completely red, and she slammed to the ground, sending out several large obelisks that planted themselves parallel to one another. Meanwhile, Chaos herself was changing rapidly. Her black and purple armor now shifted to a malicious red, and her wings went pitch black. Her fire now changed to some strange dark fragmented power, cloaked all in an orange aura. Chaos recalled her glaive into her hand, and then focused her vision on the pair of Sam and Achos. She crashed forward, her body more than 10 foot tall. Chaos swung her glaive rapidly, crashing it into the ground. Achos raised his arms to guard, but was slammed straight into one of the piles of debris. Sam countered her glaive with his own scythe, but crashed backwards by the impact. Sam slid across the ground, still holding his position firmly. Achos stood up, and roundhouse kicked Chaos's leg. Chaos didn't feel it in the slightest, and immediately spun around, sending Achos flying once more. Sam was deadlocked from Chaos's glaive. He tried to guard, but Chaos was capable of an insurmountable amount of pressure. Every swing she made, Sam was pushed back more and more. In this battle was definitely the loser. Achos formed a massive hammer, slamming it down on Chaos's head, but the weapon shattered upon impact, and Chaos was perfectly fine. Chaos whipped around and kicked Achos straight into one of the obelisks. Achos crashed to the ground, out of breath, and injured badly. Chaos took notice, raising her glaive to deal the final blow, but before she could land it, Sam intervened in the way, guarding with his scythe, but slowly, his guard began to break. In an instant, Chaos overwhelmed Sam, and her glaive was gunning for Achos. Instantly, it was met by a large shield, and Chaos stepped back a little bit thanks to the flinch. Iota had appeared out of nowhere, and used the large glaive she wielded to shield Achos.
Chaos analyzed the figure, 5'6, clasped in red and gold lightweight armor. Golden greaves and red grasps lining her arms and legs. A large red chest piece anchoring itself to Iota's torso, and three small knives lining the left hip. Compared to most of the extravagant designs the other Ageloids used, Iota had a much more modest look. In her hands, a glaive pulsing electric red, that had intricate green patterns weaved along the sides, and a pure silver color.
Iota swung her own glaive forward, in an effort to counter Chaos once again, but Chaos was still overwhelmingly strong despite that last hit. Chaos slammed her glaive into Iota, sending her spiraling into yet another obelisk. Sam jumped forward, his scythe hitting Chaos's glaive, but quickly, he was met with a heavy handed swing, sending him back like a golf ball meeting the club. Sam crashed into the ground, his impact causing the pavement to scatter and upturn. Sam looked down at his back and legs, both of them torn apart from the impact. He watched as his tendons quickly formed once more, and slowly he stood to his feet, watching the skin form over his muscles. Iota to the aggression of Chaos. It was a glaive duel, with Chaos's far superior glaive dominating Iota's. With every hit, Iota tried to use the shield on her glaive, but eventually, holding the shield up became too much. With every hit, Iota kept falling back. Chaos kept up the pressure, seeing Iota's weakness. Iota kept backing up more and more, but eventually tripped over some debris in the street. Luckily, just as Chaos was about to land a major hit on her, Achos diverted the blow.
"I'm not out yet Chaos," An exasperated Achos smirked.
"Achos, you can't continue like this!" Iota shouted at the boy.
"I'll see this through to the end Iota, that's the promise I made to Mio," Achos smiled.
"Still struggling, Achos? You're more pathetic than I thought," Chaos remarked.
"Still bitching Chaos? You're more of a whore than I thought." Achos retorted.
Achos formed a large javelin, and threw it at Chaos's hand. Chaos used her glaive to block the javelin, but the javelin wasn't quite aimed where Chaos predicted it to impact. The javelin flew straight into the strange element in Chaos's opposite hand, and Achos was surrounded by some strange aura. Chaos retorted by firing off a large beam that hit Achos, but surprisingly enough, Achos was unaffected. Achos swung around a katana formed from his blood, and brought it to Chaos's shins, however, the katana shattered upon impact. Achos raised his arms quickly, blocking the incoming kick from Chaos, however he was sent flying back. He skidded to a stop, his impact cushioned by the sturdy obelisk behind him. Sam stood up, and rushed in to rejoin the fight, just in time to see Achos force his hand into one of the pillars, and the armor on Chaos's right shoulder puffed up with weird vines. Achos formed a quick javelin, and thrust it forward at Chaos's shoulder, however, Chaos quickly parried it, sending it back at Achos, nailing him in the chest. Achos impact some nearby rubble, and then collapsed to the ground, reaching out to a nearby pool of blood. Chaos rushed forward, kicking him across the whole city. Sam and Iota looked at the figure of Achos, impacting the ground, and unmoving. Sam threw his scythe at Chaos before his skin began to harden. Chaos parried the scythe, sending it flying blindingly fast back at Sam, but Sam used one of his newly formed wings to knock it back. Iota threw a knife at Chaos's shoulder, warping to it instantly, and slamming her glaive into it. Chaos fell down, catching her breath, as some of her old back armor was uncovered from the impact. Iota quickly threw a knife to the top of Epsilon tower, and warped to the tower, just before using her remaining knife to warp Achos atop the tower too. Sam held Chaos down, stopping her from pursuing them. Chaos rushed forward at Sam, kicking him, but this time, her kick had no effect on the fully powered Sam. Sam reached forward and clutched Chaos's glaive, and attempted to yank it from her, but as soon as he made contact, he clutched his head in agony.
"Only those that the Remnant of Time deems worthy can hold it. You are not worthy, so you will be cleansed." Chaos said sadistically.
Sam formed a new scythe, this one greatly increased in size, and swung it around at Chaos. Chaos parried it effortlessly, and then brought her glaive down on Sam. Sam backstepped quickly, and then threw his scythe at the girl's opposite hand, shattering the strange element once more. Chaos fired off the beam of power once again, however, it yielded no result whatsoever. Sam rushed over to one of the obelisks, and forced his hand into it. Chaos collapsed once again, the wires on her shoulder popping up yet again. Sam spun into action, driving his scythe straight into her shoulder. Chaos fell down, her upper torso now the previous black armor she was wearing. She whirred around, spinning the massive glaive in her hands, and creating a massive tornado around her. The rain began to swirl around her as well, blocking Sam's sights of Chaos, and soon, it would prove to be to his detriment, as Chaos quickly popped behind him, and kicked him straight into yet another obelisk. Sam collapsed to the ground, and with her attention focused on him, Iota made her move. She threw her knife at Chaos's opposite hand, and prepared herself to get hit by the large beam Chaos would inevitably fire... but it never came. Chaos stopped her hand from releasing the surge of power, and instead fired it into the air. Iota quickly rushed forward, attempting to get hit by the beam of energy, but she was shut down instantly, Chaos using one of her legs to kick Iota straight into another obelisk. The energy being released from Chaos's hand began to falter, and Iota knew she had dwindling time before the beam would disperse. Achos had found out the secret to this new form of Chaos, and in the remainder of time he had left that he was conscious, he illustrated what Iota would have to do in order to stop her. Iota quickly jumped forward, Chaos attempting to kick her, but Sam jumped in to take the blow. Sam was sent flying back, and Iota quickly slammed her hand into the nearby obelisk. Chaos's left thigh inflated, the wires forming once more. Iota brought around her glaive, and slammed it into Chaos's thigh. Chaos fell to the ground out of breath, and then rotated around to guard the remaining pillar.
"How'd you know to do that to Chaos?" Iota asked Sam.
"I copied what Achos did that first time," Sam responded, guarding a Glaive slam from Chaos.
Sam was sent back, crashing into the remaining pillar. Chaos jumped forward, her target being Iota. Iota guarded as best as she could, but a single kick sent Iota flying. She skidded to a stop on the ground, and quickly sprinted back to the fight. Meanwhile, Sam threw his scythe at the aura in Chaos's left hand, and then narrowly dodged Chaos's slam with the glaive. Chaos fired the energy behind her, but Sam suddenly smirked.
"What?" Chaos spoke harshly.
"I'm not the one who absorbed the aura," Sam laughed.
Chaos looked behind her, to see Iota throwing a knife over to Sam. Sam quickly caught the knife, and instantly, Iota warped to the pillar Sam stood by, and forced her hand into the obelisk. Chaos's remaining thigh puffed up with the wires, and Iota made the first move. Iota was quickly dispersed, being kicked so far she landed in the forest nearby. Iota used the knife she had thrown Sam to warp back, but as soon as she reappeared, Chaos impaled her on the end of her glaive. Iota's eyes widened, as she comprehended the full situation she was in. Chaos quickly flung her body straight into one of the few remaining buildings. Sam was the last person left to stop Chaos. Chaos rushed at the boy, but Sam spun his glaive forward at her thigh. He broke through the armor, but instead of collapsing, Chaos went into a frenzy. She spun around wildly, swinging glaive attack after glaive attack. Sam used all his remaining energy to guard all her hits, but slowly, he began to move sluggishly, and soon, Chaos hit him with one final glaive strike, and he collapsed entirely. Chaos panted out of breath, and then shrunk down to her normal size.
"Not long now big brother, I'll bring you back, just you wait," Chaos smiled.
From the shadows, a figure stepped forward, clad in black. He had yellow lights around where his joints would be, and his vein locations pulsed with bright yellow as well. At his hip, a large pink sword, and his brown hair blew in the wind.
"Pleasure to see you again Chaos," the figure smirked, "oh wait, it's not."
"You... how are you back." Chaos emphasized, her mouth agape.
"Type Sampi: Kianu, the first fabricated Ageloid, and the last Ageloid in the Greek alphabet." Kianu smiled, "Pleasure to meet your acquaintance again."
