Third PERSON POV
As Yashi stepped inside the room, her entire body froze. The sight before her made her heart stop standing there, in a doctor's coat, was Adarsh. Her Adarsh. Tears welled up in her eyes, spilling down her cheeks. Seven years. Seven long years since she had last seen him. He still looked the same, yet something was different. His once warm eyes were now cold, filled with nothing but hatred and pain.
"A-Adarsh..." she whispered, her voice trembling.
His sharp gaze cut through her. "Don't try to take my name with your filthy mouth," he snapped, his voice laced with anger.
She flinched. This wasn't her Adarsh. Her Adarsh would never speak to her like this.
"It is Doctor Oberoi for you," he added, his tone ice-cold. His jaw clenched as he took a step closer. "How can someone be so cruel? Don't you have a heart? How could you keep me away from my own daughter, Yashi? How could you?" His voice rose into a furious shout.
Yashi shook her head, her tears falling freely. "I am not bad... I am not cruel," she whispered to herself, sobbing.
Adarsh let out a bitter laugh. "Yes, you are. You're the most disgusting human I have ever seen. First, you ran away from me. And even after having our child, you never once tried to contact me. My baby, my Aashvi, hates me. She hates her own father-and it's all because of you. ALL BECAUSE OF YOU, YASHI!" His voice thundered through the room. His eyes burned with fury. "You failed as a wife, and you failed as a mother. Wow, Yashi. Just... wow." He clapped slowly, mockingly.
Yashi couldn't take it anymore. The suffocating weight of his words crushed her.
"SHUT UP, ADARSH OBEROI! JUST FUCKING SHUT UP!" she screamed, her voice breaking. "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED THAT NIGHT! You just don't know anything!" Her sobs shook her body as she struggled to breathe.
Adarsh stepped closer, his movements slow and deliberate. As he advanced, she instinctively stepped back until her back hit the cold, hard wall. He caged her in, pinning her against it.
"Don't you ever speak to me like that again, Yashi Singh," he murmured, his voice dangerously calm, laced with quiet fury. "Don't you dare." His breath was steady, but his eyes burned with rage. "You're nothing but a liar. Now tell me what happened that night?"
With trembling hands, Yashi shoved him away. Her chest heaved as she fought to control her emotions.
"You want to know what happened?" she said, her voice shaking. "Fine. Listen, then."
FLASHBACK
Adarsh stood by the door, glancing at Yashi with a soft smile. "Are you sure you don't want to come?"
Yashi nodded, offering a small smile. "Yes, Adarsh. You all go ahead. I have some important work to finish."
His eyes lingered on her before he sighed. "Alright... but at least give me a kiss before I leave."
She giggled. "Oh, really? What if I say no?"
Smirking, he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close. "Then I'll take it," he whispered huskily in her ear.
She gasped. "A-Adarsh! Koi aa jaye ga!"
"I don't care," he teased.
Just then, the door swung open.
"Adarsh! Yashi, are you both rea-" Rudransh stopped mid-sentence before groaning. "What the hell! At least close the damn door, idiots!"
Adarsh glared. "Bhaiii! At least knock before barging in!"
