Visera stood still, her mouth agape and her eyes wide. She would have never thought what her other siblings had told her was true. But she couldn't, they couldn't. She was to marry Jason Lannister and if they were to profess their love it would only make it harder when she is to leave.
" you can't." She said her voice shaky taking a step back, he reached for her but she shook her head and took another. Tears form in her eyes as a look of hurt flashed in his own.
" why." He asked his voice low as he looked to the floor, she had never seen him like this before. Not even when he had lost his eye.
As much as she hated to she had to lie, she had never done so to him before making this whole situation harder. "I do not love you the same." As soon as she spoke those words the tears fell down her face.
" I know you rose, I know your heart." He swallowed hoping he was right, he was not ready to give up. He would fight against what ever was going on in his rose's mind. " you and I both know that is not true."
She was silent for a moment before saying " it is."she could not let her emotions win, so she ignored the pain in her chest. Her face changed as Aemond looked up at her, the look made his heart drop.
" oh." He said stumbling back slightly, thinking he was going to fall Visera rushed forward to catch him -not that she would have succeed- but he pushed her off. Losing her balance the princess fell to the ground with a thud.
Aemond looked down at her with his eye wide then too his hands." I think I should leave." Aemond said in a panic and rushed to the door.
" no Aemond wait! I am not hurt." Visera said getting up but she was not quick enough he had already left slamming the door.
" I have made a terrible mistake."
That next morning Visera sat with Helena in her and Aegon's new chambers. Helena was talking about something but she wasn't listening. " sera is something wrong?" Still Visera remained silent, it wasn't until Aemond walked in she looked up.
He had come to Helena to talk to her about Visera, since their brothers were being of no help.
Visera stood up looking to their sister. " I will see you at dinner Lena." She said with a smile before leaving the room not looking at Aemond, she couldn't, not after what she did to him.
She began walking the halls, Ser Gerald a few paces behind. The princess would always do this when she was upset, but normally Aemond was by her side listening to her complain about the gods know what. The thought made her halt causing Ser Gerald to almost run in to her.
" princess?"
When she turned to look at him he sighed, the poor girl had tears streaming down her face. Luckily there had been no one in the halls to witness.
" have you ever made a mistake your not sure you can come back from?" Something flickered in his eyes but it was gone in a blink.
" Is this about Aemond?" He asked walking her to the side of the hall where it was darker and pulled her into a hug.
" I assume you heard our conversation?" Visera asked to which he nodded, Visera sighed as more tears began to form and fall more rapidly.
" I did not mean it ser." She cried, he shushed her as she cried which lasted a couple minutes. Until footsteps were heard at the end of the hall.
" wipe your eyes." The guard said letting go of the princess and standing up straight. After Visera did wipe her eyes she turned to see Jason Lannister walking towards them with a creepy smile. Once again the hair on the back of her neck arose.
" My Lord, I was just looking for you." She lied faking a smile as he stopped in front of the two. " as was I." He said grabbing her hand before kissing it, Visera held down the gag as she sent him a smile.
" walk with me?" He asked holding out his arm, she nodded and grabbed it. Jason started to tell the princess about Casterly Rock when Visera looked back at Ser Gerald and faked a gag. The guard playfully rolled his eyes with a chuckle.
The Lannister man turned towards the Tyrell. " is there something humorous about my home, Ser Gerald?" The guard shook his head " just thinking of old memories my lord, that is all." Jason looked back forward and Ser Gerald sent Visera a playful wink.
