The baby girl was found in the gods wood. Her tiny body wrapped in a thin swaddling cloth, clinging to her delicate skin. Though her features were unmistakably not of their lineage, the king and queen took her in as one of their own. They named her...

Visera crawled to Daeleyes body, grabbing her and rushed out the room. The sounds of cutting bone echoed in her ears, the men chuckling. She had to get help, she had to get help for her baby. Across the hall was her and Aemond's bedchamber, she burst through the door.
Aegon and Aemond both turned to her, goblets in hand. "Rose?" She fell to her knee, sobs escaping from her. The weight became too much and Daeleyes fell from her arms allowing the men to see her neck. No words could escape her mouth, only sobs. They both look between her and Daeleyes in shock. " What happened, where are my wife and children?"
Aemond's eye darken as his eye never left his daughter's slit neck. Visera looked up at him, tears streaming down her reddened cheeks. "They killed them, Jaehaerys and my baby they're dead." She choked out.
They both stepped forward. " who?" Aegon demanded. He dropped the goblet, it shattering as it collided with the ground. Aemond grabbed the hilt of his sword as the next words left her laugh. " the rat catchers."
Visera reached out for her husband. " Aemond, please I need you." He stepped forward collapsing in her arms, he now was a sobbing mess. She clutched onto his tunic, soaking it with her tears. Aegon had left the room in search of his wife and daughter.
" my baby, my baby is dead." She whispered over and over. Her heart churned, as if someone had pierced her heart and had been turning the blade. Aemond held her close, rage stirring up in his chest as a volcano ready to erupt. They both had known who ordered it, it had to be Rhaenyra for revenge for her son.
Something snapped in Visera, she backed away from Aemond, glaring at him. " if you hadn't been so relentless in getting revenge, our daughter would be alive!" Aemond shook his head, he didn't wanna give Daeron up. He didn't want Visera to hate him, so he took the blame.
" Visera, I'm sorry!" He whispered and went to kiss her forehead but she moved away.
" don't touch me."
"Rose please!" Aemond began to sob harder, but Visera just shook her head and took her daughter's body in her arms. She rocked back and forth, while rubbing her bloodstained hair.

Visera stood in the middle of her and Aemond's bed chamber, Florence undoing her bloodstained night skirts. The Princess had not spoken a word since blaming Aemond. This kind of pain breaks someone open, exposes them, crumbles every bit of their humanity. She had lost two children within weeks of each other. She felt, rage, sadness, dispair, hopelessness, numb and broken.
Every fiber in her body wanted blood, and revenge. Rhaenys, who made her labours begin early. Rhaenyra, who sent assassins to kill her daughter and nephew.
Visera stepped foot in the bath Florence had drawn for her. " where are my children?" Visera finally spoke, her voice raspy. She watched as the rest of the handmaidens scrubed the floor where her daughter's dead body had just laid moments before.
"Cerhanna, and Ser Gerald are with them in Lorean's chambers." She nods and lets out a sigh. Florence began to scrub the blood from her hands and hair, the water quickly becoming a crimson color.
" Heleana?" She whispered. Visera was forever grateful for her sister, but hurt for her. Heleana was willing to give up her son when they wanted Daeleyes.
Florence sighed and shook her head. " she has yet to leave the prince and princess bedchambers." She understood, she hadn't moved from her spot on the floor, until the silent sisters came and got her daughters body. She did not want them to take her, but Florence had convinced her.
" Aemond?" She asked regretting it as soon as it left her mouth, but she knew he was grieving to and needed to be checked on. Florence gave her a sad smile. " The prince went patrolling on Vhagar, he's been up there all morning."
Visera only nodded. Her heart churned at the thought of her husband being part of the reason her daughter was dead. If he had not been so selfish and ignorant, Daeleyes would be here. Her nephew would be here.
She had tried with every cell in her body to not think of the murder of her daughter and nephew, but no matter how much she did it kept replaying over and over. The sound of the blade slicing her throat, the sound of them cutting the bone in Jaehearys' neck, their whines and whimpers.
After Visera's bath Florence helped her out, her legs going numb as she falls to her knees. The princess breaks out into a fit of sobs. It was as if someone had been tugging on her heart, slowly ripping it out of her chest. The handmaiden tried her best to comfort the grieving mother, she wrapped the towel around the princess before rubbing her head. " I know, sweet girl."

Alicent entered her chambers, a grim look on her face. She couldn't look Visera in the eye. " There will be a funeral." Visera averted her gaze to her mother, not saying a word. " We are to ride in a carriage behind their bodies, through the city." Visera scoffed.
" I will not have my daughter's deceased body, drug through the streets for all to see!" The princess exclaimed. She shook her head at the thought, everyone seemed to be focused on having the realm hate Rhaenyra instead of thinking of how Heleana and Visera were grieving.
Alicents voice softened " If the small folk see the damage that has been done, they will fall behind us." Everything in Visera's world halted, did her mother really just say that? Alicent had yet to say she's sorry for the murder of her grandchildren.
Visera stepped closer to her mother, a sneer on her face. " I do not wish for them to fall behind us, I wish for my daughter and nephew to be alive." She exclaimed. Florence stood to the side as she shook her head at the topic at hand.
" your brother has already agreed, ready yourself." Alicent said, turning around about to exit Visera's bedchambers. " Florence will accompany me." Visera demanded, leaving no room for debate. Alicent only nodded and continued her walk out of the chamber.
