(Bruce's pov)
I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing from my phone and turned it off as I rubbed my eyes
"Bruce wake up honey you don't want to be late for your first day of school!" My mother spoke as she opened the curtains of my bedroom. "Okay mother just give me a few minutes to dress up" I smiled and got up still rubbing my eyes...
As soon as I was done dressing and doing my hair I walk down the stairs to see Amy running around looking for her hair brush "WHERES MY HAIR BRUSH!!" She yelled as she ran around "Amy calm down its on the floor" I chuckled and picked it up "can you do my hair Bruce please!!" She told me as he handed me her hair brush "fine get over here" I sigh and put her hair in a ponytail. "Thank you!!" She thanked me and our dad drove us to school "goodbye kids! Make sure to pay attention to your teachers and learn!" My father spoke and drove away to his work. "Okay Amy let's go and make sure not to get into trouble like you did in your old school" I spoke and she roll her eyes "don't you roll your eyes on me missy!" She chuckles and ran towards her class and as I walk towards mine I bumped into a guy and fell on the floor "I'm sorry man I didn't see yo-" I spoke but I was cut off by him shouting at me "shut up you dipshit! Watch out where you are going or next time I'll beat your ass!" Everyone went silent and one guy with a bandanna walked towards him and pulled him away as another kid with curly hair helped me up "I'm sorry about him it's always a jerk" he smiled "I can tell" I chuckled and he smiled and expanded his hand "hi I'm finney Blake by the way and the other guy with the bandanna is my friend Robin!" I smiled and shake his hand "hi I'm Bruce Yamada! It's really nice of you to help me out" I smiled and the bell rang "oh shoot I have to go! Um do you know where the math class is at?" I asked finney "oh yeah I'm actually going there too! Let me show you" he smiled and I followed him "this is our math class! And our teacher is the best!" He smiled "really? My old math teacher used to be the worst!" I sigh and we sat together talking about what we like and I realized we had so much in common "Really?! You play baseball too!?!" I smiled exited "Yes I do!! We actually have a baseball team and we actually have a little bit of players you can join if you want to!!" He smiled and when school was over he showed me around the neighborhood and took me to this grab and go "come on let's go buy a drink it's so hot today" he said as he took my hand and started running towards the store and once we got inside I saw a pinball "woah is that a pinball!!" I smile and walked towards it but I was stopped by Finney grabbing my hand "Bruce I don't think it's a good idea to play that pinball..." "why is it broken?" I said confused "no Vance will kill you if you even lay a finger on that pinball" "who's Vance?" I asked as I payed the cashier for our drinks "Vance is the toughest kid of the whole school! He beat up a 12 grader when he was a 7 grader" I was shocked hearing that "woah really?" And I bumped into a familiar blonde hair "oh I'm sorr-" I shut up as I saw the same guy from school "not you again I told you to watch out where you go next time! Are you blind!" He yelled at me and before he can punch me his friend grabbed his hand "Vance calm down!" His friend turned around and saw finney "oh hey Finn!" He smiled "hey rob!! How are you?" He smiled back "nothing much just taking care of this kid" he chuckle and finney softly blush as he chuckled along with him. As finney and Robin talk I just stand there awkwardly and I felt Vance glaring at me "um.. I think I should get going goodbye finney!" Before finney could say anything to me I just sprinted away since I forgot I left Amy alone at school...
(10 minutes later)
"AMY!" I yelled and found Amy with this girl with pigtail braids "finally took you long enough Bruce!" Amy said in a annoyed tone "I'm sorry sis I just lost track..." I sigh as I catch my breath from running so fast "it's alright and meet my new friend her name is gwen!" She smile and her friend expanded her hand "hi I'm Gwen Blake!" She smiles and my eyes widen "Oh! You're finney's sister?!" I smile and she smiles back "Yes! Yes I am you must have met him he's always trying to make friends with everybody" she giggled and we heard our dad yelling at us from his car "kids I'm here! Hurry up!"
"Oh goodbye Gwen have to go but see you in class tomorrow!!" Amy said as I was already in the car when she ran towards the car after she got in our dad drove us home. When we got home my dad was unlocking the door when I saw Vance walking inside our neighbors house and I realized 'he's the kid that was standing behind the lady that gave us cookies!'
