Chapter 13

Adarsh woke up because of the sound and he is absolutely scared and stunned by looking at the tiger. He observed his surroundings silently but didn't make an eye contact with the tiger. He stood tall and brave in-front of it . He read somewhere that if we act fearless in-front of a tiger it won't harm you. He saw someone standing at a distance. He wished he / she could help him. He saw that person approaching towards him and the tiger. That person shot an arrow towards the tiger. He heard the roar of the tiger. The tiger turned towards that person. That person is holding a fire torch. In the light which is emitted from that he saw that person' face. She's a woman who is extremely beautiful. She is wearing a beautiful ornament. it's nothing but her confidence and courage. She is moving the torch towards the tiger and the tiger is stepping back. After the tiger went away she looked at the man. He have a great charisma in his face. She found his clothes unique. Even he found her clothing style unique. He felt like he just saw a princess from ancient days.

Mahitha : who are you ?

Adarsh : I am a scientist. Who are you ?

Mahitha : scientist ? I'm mahitha. I am the protector of this forest.

Adarsh : what ? Are you a forest officer ?

Mahitha : forest officer ? Where are you from ? Your dressing , hairstyle and way of speaking. Every thing is different. 

Adarsh : even i am feeling the same. What's the name of this place ? 

Mahitha : it's the west-side forest of vijayapuri empire.

Adarsh : vijayapuri empire ! Ok ! So, i am in NJR reserve forest.

Mahitha : NJR reserve forest ?

Adarsh and Mahitha are extremely confused because of each-others words.

Adarsh : yeah ! What's the time now ?

Mahitha : it's midnight. 

Adarsh : yeah ! I can see that. Ok ! You don't have a watch. Can i get shelter tonight ? I'll go home tomorrow.

Mahitha : first let me know who you are ! Why you came here ?

Adarsh : actually i accidentally activated my new invention and i landed here. 

Mahitha : invention ?

Adarsh : yes ! I created time-machine. Can you believe that ?

Mahitha : time-machine ? I heard about it some tales but never thought it would happen for real.

Adarsh : yes ! It happened. I'll show you when it becomes morning. I live near the bank of river which flows from vijayapuri.

Mahitha is shocked as she visits the river everyday and meditates by sitting there. She never saw any houses in the surroundings. She wondered where exactly he is from.

Mahitha : come with me !

They walked towards mahitha's horse. Mahitha climbed on the horse. She forwarded her hand to him.

Adarsh : what ? Are we going to travel on this horse ?

Mahitha : then how you will travel ? Can you fly ?

Adarsh : wooh ! You are a little rude. Ok fine ! I am coming with you. 

He climbed and sat behind her. As the horse neighed he lost his balance. When he is about to fall back mahitha held him.

Mahitha : you can hold on to me if you want. I don't mind.

Adarsh : thanks !

Mahitha felt a strange feeling with his presence. She don't know why but she is nervous for the first time in her life. She rode towards the bank of the river. Adarsh is looking at his surroundings strangely.

Adarsh : why my surroundings are looking like as if i landed in a periodic drama film set ? Wait ! The machine just landed teleported me to a different century. Oh my god ! It was successful. I ! I just thought it transported to a little time ahead but no ! Wait ! How i am supposed to go back ?

Mahitha : what ? So, you aren't from this time-line ?

Adarsh : yes ! I am not guessing but i am sure.
