Aarnav laughed and adarsh looked at him with a stern face.

Aarnav : so, you thought she would believe you ! Oh my god ! How come you are a scientist when you are this dumb ?

Adarsh :shut up okay ! I won't say further story if you laugh like this.

Aarnav : okay !

FLASHBACK ,

Mahitha went to the border of the forest and met the spy who is waiting for her.

Mahitha : sorry ! I am late.

Spy : it's ok highness ! 

Mahitha : what's the matter ?

Spy : we traced the bandit. He is an ally of king vallabha deva.

Mahitha : oh ! So, that's the reason for his over confidence.

Spy : yes princess !

Mahitha : okay ! Stay safe ! Here , take this. Your wife gave this.

Mahitha gave a small bag to him. He thanked the princess who is extremely kind but shows no sympathy for criminals.

Mahitha rode the horse towards the river again. She saw adarsh who is unconscious.

Mahitha ( to herself ) : I don't know who the hell he is ! But he seems to be a mentally unstable man. I must send him to his place soon. But , why his dressing is different ?

Commander : princess ! What are you doing here at this time ?

Mahitha : I am here on work. What are you doing here ? Did you enquire about that ?

Commander : yes ! I'm returning back after doing the work assigned by you !

Mahitha : ok !

Commander : who is he princess ?

Mahitha : a mentally unstable man. We must find-out where he is from and send him to his place. 

Commander : but he doesn't look like one. He seems to be great scholar. But his dress ! 

Mahitha : that is what i am thinking.

Commander : may i depart princess ?

Mahitha : yes ! You can.

Mahitha waited for adarsh to wake up . She soon drifted into sleep . She is leaning her head on to a rock.

Adarsh woke up after some time. He blinking his eyes several times and he saw his enchantress. He slowly stood up and walked towards her. He kept his face much closer to her for observing her face as it is dark. Suddenly she opened her eyes and kept her dagger near his throat. She pushed him to the ground and punched his face.

Adarsh : ouchh ! 

Mahitha relaxed by looking at his face and sat beside him.

Mahitha : what are you doing ?

Adarsh : I thought of observing your face . You are the princess right ? You fooled me ! 

Mahitha is about to say something but he cut her in the middle.

Adarsh : I know that you didn't believe my words but that's the truth. You can ask me any questions. Wait ! Your palace have some secret passages right ? They are secrets in your time. But we know them as it's a tourist place now. You have a huge garden right ? That's the place where the current royals built their palace. I'll tell those passages. Will you believe then ?

Mahitha : ok ! 

Mahitha decided to give him a chance and if she believes him he would be alive or else she decided to kill him as she can't let the secret passages to be an open secret. Not in this century.

Adarsh : there's a room in the 2nd level. At the right corner. There's a statue where a man is holding a rusted sword. Beside that there's a small lobby. There there's a passage.

Mahitha is shocked as that's true.

Adarsh : am i right ?

Mahitha : more ?

Adarsh frowned.

Adarsh : there's a passage which is not allowed for visitors near the lower level. They claim it to be kitchen. It leads to the temple i think. Yeah ! It leads to temple.

Mahitha is believing him as even this is true. But she is unable to accept that.

Mahitha : are you really from 20 the century ?

Adarsh : yes ! I am from 20th century. Are you believing me now princess ?

Mahitha : how did you come to know that I am the princess ?

Adarsh : the locket that you are wearing. It's in the museum now.

Mahitha : what ?

Adarsh : yes ! I know you are the princess the moment i saw you.

Mahitha : do you know what happened to me ?

Adarsh : I don't know.

Mahitha : i know you are lying. I can sense that.

Adarsh tried to change the topic.

Mahitha : if you won't answer me you will be dead in my hands.

Adarsh : you will die immediately after your father's death. The king named vallabha deva kills you ! He turns your people into his slaves. He tortures your ministers for digging out information about your wealth. He will kill your mother in front of you.
