16th century ,

With the birth of mitra the people of vijayapuri are in celebration mode. Shodasi devi and mahadeva are on cloud nine. Adarsh and mahitha are extremely happy. Mahitha is admiring her daughter a lot. She just prayed to the god for their well being. Adarsh is equally happy but he felt something wrong is going to happen . Mahitha noticed his state and questioned him but he always brushed them off saying that he is fine and she is overthinking. The days passed and soon mitra turned 6 months old. Shodasi devi is sitting in the garden along with her granddaughter. Mitra is chuckling lightly by listening to the birds chirping. Mahitha is watching them from distance. She just spoke about an issue with the citizens and came back. She thought of taking a look at the warehouse. As she went inside she saw adarsh who is extremely tensed.

Mahitha : what happened ?

Adarsh tried to hide something. Mahitha quickly took it from his hands.

Mahitha : what is this ?

The object is weird to her. She never saw that.

Adarsh : time navigator.

Mahitha : what does it mean ?

Adarsh : with this we can analyse the timemachine. Till now i got no signal but now i got signal. I think i'llbe back to my timeline.

Mahitha : what ?

Mahitha started tensing. She hugged him tightly.

Mahitha : No ! I can't leave without you. You can't go back. No !

Adarsh hugged her and brushed her hair lightly.

Adarsh : i am promising you. I won't leave you.

Mahitha looked into adarsh's eyes. He placed his lips on hers. It's a kiss of promise. They heard a small sound from the device. They broke apart and looked at the device. Adarsh looked at it without budging.

Mahitha : what's happening ?

Adarsh : where's mitra ?

Mahitha : she is with amma.

Adarsh : bring her !

Mahitha : why ?

Mahitha stopped as she saw adarsh who is glaring at her. She ran towards the garden and took mitra in her arms. Shodasi devi looked at her in confusion. Mahitha ignored her mother and ran towards the ware house. She closed her eyes as she felt red beams of light hitting her face. The last thing she remembered before falling into darkness is adarsh holding her hand tightly.

Mahitha opened her eyes slowly . Her vision is blurr. She blinked her eyes multiple times. Then she saw the ceiling which is completely different. She checked her surroundings. She is in a completely different place. She woke up with a jolt.

Adarsh : mahi ! Calm down.

Mahitha shivered due to the change. Adarsh hugged her tightly.

Adarsh : calm down. I pulled you along with me. We are in 19th century now. This is our house.

Mahitha : wh..what ?

Adarsh : yes ! Let's clean this mess together. No one stayed here for 5 years right ! So, it's dirty.

Mahitha stood up and walked towards the door. She opened it slowly. The room which it led is a bedroom. It is already clean.

Adarsh : i cleaned the room already. Mitra is sleeping . Take these clothes and go for bath.

Adarsh gave a saree to mahitha. It is something similar to those sarees mahitha used to wear when she is under disguise. Mahitha took it.

Mahitha : where's the bath chamber ?
