chapter 27

Mahitha and adarsh walked towards the river from a secluded route. Mahitha silently sat on the rock. Adarsh and mahitha both are silent for some time. Mahitha tried to start the conversation But suddenly it started raining.

Adarsh : princess ! Let's take shelter in that cave.

Mahitha nodded.
They went into the cave. Adarsh looked at the clouds.

Adarsh : i think it won't stop anytime soon.

He got no reply from mahitha. He looked at her who is staring at the huge banyan tree without blinking her eyes.

Adarsh : princess !!

Mahitha : huh ?

Adarsh : where are you lost ?

Mahitha : what's that ?

Adarsh : what ?

Mahitha : something is shining near the trunk of that banyan tree.

Adarsh : oh !  That's a pendant. It's mine. I kept it in that .

Mahitha : why ?

Adarsh : it is a part of 3 stones. If all 3 stones come together it will make you the time lord.

Mahitha : i didn't get you.

Adarsh : it seems to be ridiculous but that's true. This stone controls the events of quantumn world. We can literally make every theory related quantum mechanics and time theories a reality.

Mahitha : how did you get that ?

Adarsh : my senior gave that to me. I have 2 parts and the other part is with him.

Mahitha : oh.

Adarsh : did you understand what i have told you princess ?

Mahitha glared at him

Mahitha : am i looking like a dumb woman ?

Adarsh : no princess.

Mahitha walked towards the banyan tree. She is about to take the stone into her hands but adarsh stopped her.

Adarsh : now it is storming. If it storms when it isin your hands....

Adarsh stopped.

Mahitha : my hands.

Adarsh : i can't survive on this planet anymore.

Mahitha didn't understand initially but then she understood.

Mahitha : i want to tell you something.

Adarsh : what's that princess ?

Mahitha : i don't know if i should believe your words. I don't know if your friend is going to save you in case i believe your story. So, i came to a conclusion.

Adarsh : what's that princess ?

Mahitha : you should take training to be a warrior. If you aren't going to return back i would love to appoint you as my royal advisor. Your rants are kind if unbelievable but your words are showing your intelligence. That is enough.

Adarsh : thank you princess.

Mahitha smiled. The sound of thunders made them alert. They went into the cave again.

Mahitha : will you go back if yoyr friend finds a solution ?

Adarsh : i don't know princess.

Mahitha is slightly hurt with his words but she didn't say anything.

Vallabhadeva stared at the sky. He found it as a reflection for his internal feelings. At present he is like a suppressed storm. He want to kill his beloved wife priyamvadha for what she  had done and what she is aiming to do. But still he is unable to get over his feelings for her. The unborn baby is making the situation more typical for him. He agrees that he is a monster but he felt monster will be a little word to explain his wife's nature. He lost his mother when he is five days old. He grew up without a mother. His step mother is extremely evil. She tried to kill him in the absence of his father. When she gave birth to kritaja she died in the labor. He never bothered about kritaja even though she tried to care about her brother. He is extremely close to his grandfather. After his demise he started distancing himself from people. He met priya in the forest when he was hunting a tiger. He thought she is an angel who came there disguising herself as a commonwoman. But few months ago he realised that she is not an angel but a demoness. He started killing her family members infront of her to make her open up and show her true colours. But she didn't react. She is always silent.

Theera : maharaja !

Vallabha deva turned around.

Vallabh deva : what happened ?

Theera took a long breath.

Theera : priyamvadha escaped.

Vallabha deva : what ?

A woman who is dressed in a royal outfit which is extremely dirty and torn in few places is running in the deadly forest. As soon as she saw the person with  whom she is trying to communicate she dropped on her knees.

Priyamvadha : i escaped at last. Now no one can catch me.

Bandit : poor you ! No one is going to save this pregnant lady !

Priyamvadha looked into his eyes. He took out his sword and placed it on her neck. He looked at her.

Priyamvadha smiled.

Priyamvadha : is this what i am going to get finally ? I did so much for you.

Bandit : i thought you would give birth to my child. Not that moron's child. I thoughtof marrying you. I loved you with my whole heart .

Priyamvadha : what ? I never know that.

Bandit : yes ! You'll never understand people's love for you. I even felt pity on that vallabha deva because he fell in love with you.

Because of the sound made by the sword the birds flew away. Blood got smeared in the surroundings. Under the moonlight a blood dipped sword is shining.
