Chapter 21

mahadeva : commander ! Stay alert ! We might get attacked now !

Commander : ok maharaja !

Mahadeva : increase the security ! I am going for saving the princess.

Adarsh : maharaja ! With your permission I want to go there. Your presence is needed in the kingdom. Trust me ! I'll bring her back safely.

Mahadeva : ok ! Take a team with you ! 

Adarsh : ok maharaja ! 

Adarsh : lakshya ! 

Lakshya  came there. Adarsh climbed on lakshya. 

Adarsh :  take me to her ! 

Lakshya neighed and started running as fast as he could. They soon crossed the boundary. Adarsh recognised the place as present day telengana and Maharastra border. Lakshya started running towards the forest. He slowed down. Adarsh got down and held lakshya's clutch. They walked slowly and lakshya stopped near a cave.

Adarsh : did she get into it ?

Lakshya signalled yes ! 

Adarsh : stay here ! I'll bring her back. Our soldiers will be hear with you. Help them to stay alert.

Adarsh walked towards the cave. He slowly went inside. Everything is dark. He took out the torchlight which he tucked in his dress and walked inside. He saw various patterns drawn on the walls of the caves. After walking for a while he saw a door. When he opened it he saw 2 passages. He thought for a while. His eyes caught the attention of a ring. He took it and saw a the symbol of vijayapuri. He thought mahitha left it as a sign and started walking in that direction. He saw light after walking for a while, he turned the torch off and walked forward. He climbed the steps and realised that he came to a palace. 

He saw a woman who is extremely well dressed and concluded that she is queen priyamvadha. She is the same person about whom he read in his social book when he was in 9th grade.

Adarsh ( to himself ) : booklo bhuthamla undhi . Nijamga intha andhamga undhi entra babu ! 

                                          ( in book she is like a ghost but in reality she is damn gorgeous ! )  

Adarsh decided to follow her and reach mahitha with her help. He saw a soldier approaching towards him and he silently knocked him off and took his uniform.

Adarsh : sorry ra ! Naa pani ayyaka Nee uniform neeku malli istha ! ( sorry dude ! I'll return your after my work get's done ! ). i love you darling !

Mahadeva and his wife are sitting in the courtroom along with their ministers and commanders. They even alerted the citizens and every soldier is ready to shed their blood for saving their birthplace. 

Commander : maharaja ! Vallabha deva is coming with his army. He is almost nearing.

Mahadeva : be ready ! Let's see who's going to win.

Commander : i think it will be better if we alert the kings of other provinces. 

Mahadeva : what ? Do you think i am not worth full ? Or are you supporting them ?

Commander : no maharaja ! I am saying this for our safety. Those aren't some normal soldiers like ours. They are extremely nomadic. That is how vallabha deva trains them.

Mahadeva : I am the emperor and i know what i am supposed to do. Do your work ! 

Shodasi devi : maharaja ! Once listen to him. 

Mahadeva : stop ! Check the security of our palace. 

Shodasi devi : ok maharaja !

Vallabha deva : where are they ?

Priyamvadha : they are in the jail. Still they are unconscious.

Vallabha deva : act nice and stab them ! 

Priyamvadha : ok maharaja !

Vallabha deva left after kissing his priya's forehead. Priyamvadha smirked by looking at him. She walked towards the prison. She saw her father-in-law who is lost in some thoughts.

Priyamvadha tapped the bars with her bangles. He looked at her.

Veerendra deva : Priya ! 

Priyamvadha : be ready !

Veerendra deva : ok ! I'll be back with his head.

Priyamvadha flinched but composed herself.

Priyamvadha opened kritaja's prison and went inside. She sat beside her. As soon as she placed her hand on kritaja's shoulder, kritaja hugged Priya tightly and started crying.

Priyamvadha : don't worry ! I told him . He will come and take you along with him. I'll give some coins and jewellery. Keep them with you . Escape from here.

Kritaja nodded.

Kritaja : what about papa ?

Priyamvadha : he will be alright. I'll help him.

Kritaja : thank you vadhina ( sister-in-law ) ! 

Priyamvadha : don't thank me ! You are like my sister. I'll protect you ! Even if it's from your own brother.

Kritaja nodded. 

Priyamvadha thought of leaving and went outside , but then she thought of glancing at mahitha and theera. She walked towards the extreme end where she imprisoned them. She found it empty. When she is about to turn back someone held a dagger against her neck.
