chapter 12

Trigger warning: bad parenting, nightmares and possibly more
   
    It was during Lust's birthday when it happened, he was walking back home when he received a phone call from his dad which he picked up immediately.
    "Hello?" He anwsered only to hear his brother, Papyrus cry and speak quietly: "b-brother, come quick. Father played some more and now I'm on the bat..." the news sent Lust in state of shock and rage before saying that "he'll be there soon." And hung up before rushing towards his home and fully forgot about his promise on staying over at Dusts after school.
    When he got there he quickly grabbed the door knob and twisted it, opening the door to find it messy and full of drinks while the air was heavy with smoke and many other things. Lust dropped his bag on the ground and searched around for his brother before he heard some cries coming from the kitchen with Papyrus yelling, crying and begging to be let go off. Lust hurried towards the sounds ignoring his phone that dropped from his pocket due to how fast he was to see his brother screaming for help. Along with that happening someone wearing a black themed outfit along with black sunglasses was holding his younger brother and having wrapped it around the other just about now. Lust rushed over and kicked the person in private erea which made them immediately loose their grip on younger one whom Lust now held close before turning to his father and asking
    "Dad, what's going on and what are they trying to do with my brother?!" Smaller one was crying and hugging the other while Lust storked his hand over their head in a comforting manner. And instead of his father answering he got ignored before one that was in pain anwsered the question: "your dad lost a huge amount of money to us so he chose to give his kid to us since he has no money to pay."
    Lust stared at his father in sock then at his brother before taking in a breath and saying: "how about taking me instead?" Smaller one stared at the older one in shock and shook his head begging Lust to not do this but Lust only gave the younger one a gentle smile before saying: "stay with mom okay buddy?" The one with glasses thought it through before agreeing and even though they felt guilty to sperete the two it was their job.

    Lust shot wide awake as he sat up and glanced around, panting heavily his vision a little blurry for a moment before it cleared up and he saw that it was still night time possibly around 3:00 AM - 4:00 AM. Lust glanced around to check if everyone was alright to see them sleeping deeply . Lust gave out a smile and also laied back down and tried to sleep once more.
