(1st Person PoV)
"Are you sure that this is a good idea?" I asked Luke.
"This is a great idea! In fact, this is the most greatest idea ever!" Luke boasted, proudly.
I rolled my eyes at this but he didn't notice.
We were in the dark area where we first found Otes and where Rush Dueling was born.
Luke wanted to investigate here in case we could find any clues on what's going on with Goha and Otes.
I tagged along because I also wanted to know what's going on but also Gakuto and Romin told me to keep an eye on Luke.
What we found was nothing. The whole area was bare and had dust piling up. Looks like no one has been here for a while.
"I'll search this corner and you can search that corner," Luke told me and I merely shrugged.
We did just that and found nothing.
"Come on, Luke. It's almost midnight, our parents are going to get mad at us for being out so late," I told him.
"Well we can't just leave empty handed. We got to find at least something," Luke pointed out.
"We're not going to find anything in thi-," I started but got cut off by Luke boasting, "I found something!"
I perked up at this and went over to him.
"What's this?" I asked.
"It's crystals! Perfect gems for the King of Duels!" Luke exclaimed.
They are shiny and beautiful but what are crystals doing here? I thought.
"Yuga, go take them so I could use them for my crown," Luke said.
Bossy much, I thought so I decided to tease him.
"How about use them for your The Lukeman costume so that comic could be remastered again. The last one sold like hotcakes," I teased.
"Wh-what?! No, not TheLukeman! Now Haruka is going to make fun of me relentlessly again. AAAAAH!" Luke ran out.
I think he should be glad that his sister isn't here to hear him call her by her real name or she would have yelled that her name is Tiger.
"...well that wasn't as fun as I thought it would be," I sighed.
I took another long look at the crystals and thought, well I guess one long look at it back in my lab wouldn't hurt too much.
I carefully grabbed one and placed it in my pocket before running out to go to my lab.
I placed it down and grabbed a microscope.
I peeked down at it and saw that the patterns of the crystal was unusual.
That and it was glowing even if I took it out of where it was originally.
In fact, the more I looked at it, the sleepy I was getting.
"I'm sure a short nap wouldn't hurt anymore," I yawned and after a short bit, I was out.
