Chapter Thirteen: Discuss an Old Fearing

During the afternoon, Chase and Skye went to Skye's pup house for a reason unknown to me until then. The Cockapoo enlisted Chase's help, as her paw hurtles only in contact with the ground. Although the doctors had ordered her absolute rest, but her energetic way of life and Chase's competition could not keep her still. 

When they were in front of the pup house, Skye told the German Shepherd to wait for her, and she entered his pup house. From what Chase could see, there were various kinds of items in the kennel, games, magazines, and much more.  

Then he sat down and waited, the wait paid off as Skye came back with what looked like a fairly old book. She blew over this book to remove the dust and Chase could observe that it said "Dance Manual" on it.

"What is this?" 

"This Chase, is a Dance Manual, one of my most precious thing." She said leafing through it.

"This book looks very old and hasn't been touched for years."

"I know, I've never read it much since my mother died. It is thanks to her that I learned to dance.
This book belonged to my great-grandmother, who then passed it on to my grandmother, then to my mother, and finally came to me. It is also thanks to this book that I learned to dance."

"This book has a good story but how will it help me to be a better dancer?" 

"It's up to you to find out, in here there are all the known types of dance, and you will also find extra content, but you will find out when you read it." 

"Thank you, Skye, I'm glad you're helping me, and also we should thank your great-grandmother for this book full of pages about dance," Chase said making Skye laugh.

"You're welcome, Chase." She said sitting next to him. "You know, my family has always been known for having great dancers, starting with my great-grandmother who in her day, was the best dancer in all of California."

Chase was amazed to hear that Skye came from a generation of great dancers, and deep down she showed all the skill, and also the beauty. he knew he had to use this to his advantage to win and declare himself to Skye.

"Your relatives have been excellent dancers but in my presence, I have the best dancer I know, and the best dancer in the country. I am happy to have you by my side Skye." He said smiling.

"Thank Chase." She said blushing. "But I don't consider myself the best dancer in the nation, I just beat all the players in California, no big deal," Skye said making the two laugh.

"That's why I want you to be by my side during training because you're too good at dancing."

"You're right." She said resting his head against Chase's chest, which made them blush but they enjoyed the moment.

"I'm glad to be with you Chase, as you make my day better and even though I have a broken paw I know I can always count on your help."

Meanwhile, in the distance, curious puppies were watching the two lovebirds talking.

"Hey guys, what are you doing'" Marshall said walking towards them.

"Marshall, talk softly. Chase and Skye, they are about to declare themselves!" Zuma said carrying the Dalmatian behind a bush.

Behind this flowering bush, there were also Rubble and Rocky who thanks to his pliers were looking at the two through binoculars. 

"They are so cute together, I wonder why in all these years they have never come together." Rubble said.

"I think Chase's fear played a big role, but Skye's embarrassment also contributed," Marshall replied.

"I agree with you Marshall, but I think Chase should take the first step and not Skye."
