The travel days passed, and Chase was constantly training for fear of being unprepared, Skye and Zuma followed his training, and the other pups spent most of their time sleeping or watching what was outside the window.

The road to Chicago was long but after many hours of driving and a few stops the PAW Patrol arrived in the state of Illinois.
Chicago was a very big city, much bigger than Adventure City, which was already very big for puppies.

Ryder parked the Paw Patroller outside a tall skyscraper made of steel and glass. When the pups came down they immediately raised their heads to the sky to admire how tall that skyscraper was they almost never happened to see one so closely.

"This skyscraper is so tall," Rocky said amazed.

"And big," Marshall replied.

"It's real pups, after all, you are in the largest city of Illinois, Chicago. Place of many movies and books." Ryder said trying to figure out where the top of that skyscraper was. "Are you ready to enter pups?"

"Yes, we are," Skye said.

The pups were excited to see what was inside, but Chase was anxious about the competition, he didn't know how it would end.

When they were at the entrance, the security men did their checks and handed them the passes that allowed them to enter and exit whenever they wanted.

Once inside, they entered in front of a large room that served as an entrance area and gave directions to visitors.

The room was decorated with NPL decorations and photos of the best moments in the history of the Pup Pup Boogie. In the hall, there were many people and dogs from many parts of the United States, and Chase knew that they were all ready to fight to pass this phase of the Competition.

The pups were excited and happy to see new places they scattered. Everyone went to see the things that interested them most, but Chase decided to stay close to his owner because he did not have the strength to separate from him at that moment.

"Hey Chase, why you don't go with the others? This place is amazing." Ryder said.

"I'm not in the mood for seeing what there is here, I'm too busy to think at the competition. I'm not sure if I can win."

Ryder heard the Pastor's words and replied to Chase that he had been training for a whole week, greatly improving his skills. Skye and Zuma had been his coaches and had done a great job of his training.

Finally, Ryder comforted Chase by stroking his head and telling him that even if he doesn't win, he will have tried and had fun, and no one will judge him if he loses.

The boy's words partially worked on Chase, the puppy understood Ryder's speech but his concern did not disappear, indeed it increased when Ryder met Hester and Polly.

"Hello Hester and Polly, I'm happy to see you two," Ryder said shaking the woman's hand.

"Hello Ryder, I'm glad you've brought your team this far. Did the trip go well?"

"Yes, except that in some places there was a lot of traffic."

"Hello Ryder, I'm happy to see you again. I'm a huge fan of your team." Polly said.

"Thank you. This is Chase, your new player."

"Hello Chase, I'm Hester, the captain of the team. We are glad to see you."

"Hello, I'm Polly, your teammate. Thank you for having replaced Skye in this important role."

"Hello, you're welcome Polly, it was my duty," Chase replied.
