"Ladies and gentlemen, dogs and puppies from all over America, whether you are watching us from home or you are here in the huge audience, I am proud to announce that the last day of this season, which has given us so many emotions and many surprises, is finally open!" Philip said.

"With us, we have the honor of having the president of the NPL, the president of the USPBF, and the representative of the American Olympic Committee. Thank you for coming, and a real honor to have you here." Henry said.

The three men stood up and illuminated by the spotlights began to greet the audience who returned with a warm applause.

"Thank you, Henry and Philip, for me, it is a real honor today to be here." The President of NPL said. But now let's take a view on the PAW Patrol.

PAW Patrol members were in their vehicles as they were escorted by many police patrols and army vehicles to the competition site.

The citizens of Washington were surprised to see so many vehicles emitting their blue and red lights illuminating the streets where they passed.

Skye was in the back of Chase's cruiser, and as the air passed through her fur and her soft ears, she still thought about how Chase had saved her. She have feelings she hadn't felt for a long time, the fear, the adrenaline, and the terror of seeing Normann again.

While Chase was busy doing two things together, the first was driving, and the second was mentally preparing for the race. He knew that this time there was a lot of chances of losing.

The panic, which he had managed to manage up to that moment, began to manifest itself but Skye came to his rescue and put his good paw on his back.

Chase turned and looked at her with the eyes of a person who didn't know what he was getting into. Skye understood the emotions and smiled at them, and without even breathing she smiled too, understanding what it meant.

After this small moment arrived at the stadium, the policemen along with Casper, Micheal, and Jonh escorted the PAW Patrol backstage.
Backstage were Hester, Claire, Nero, Nina, and Axel, who had joined the group to give Chase further support, especially after hearing about Skye's kidnapping.

"You are safe!" Polly said hugging Skye.

"Skye!" The others said happy to see their dear friend.

"Hi, I'm Micheal, I've been tasked with freeing the hostage."

"Hello, my name is Hester. Captain of California Team."

"Did we arrive on time?" Casper said.

"Yes, now Chase follow me, in a few minutes the trophy will be awarded to Normann if you do not show up," Hester said.

Hester, Claire, and Chase ran onto the stage. The audience, presenters, and Normann were affected by the delay of the second participant. Most of all, Normann did not expect Chase to be there, in fact, he gritted his teeth and glanced at the German Shepherd trying to intimidate him.

"Sorry for the delay but..." Hester said.

"We had some setbacks, but the important thing is that we are here now." Claire finished.

"Okay... So let's start this match." Henry said.

As the two finalists prepared people began to bet on the possible winner, people from home prepared for the big show and others tuned into the radios or watched from their phones. All of America was there to see who will win between Normann, the great favorite and champion, and Chase, known simply as the lucky rookie.

Chase was scared but knew he would receive great support from everyone he knew, all his friends at PAW Patrol and those who had helped him get there were backstage watching him from a distance cheering for him.
