A pair of green, blue eyes opened in an instant as sweat was sliding down the paling skin of the boy named Jason Todd. The young boy had woken up screaming and hyperventilating after just having a nightmare or a certain clown. The dream was of the Joker holding a crowbar and beating him with it. Breaking every bone and crushing all of his organs until they stopped functioning properly. Causing great imaginary pain throughout Jason's body, making it feel not like his own.
Jason pants as he sees clearer from his dazed state, and the first person he sees is Catlad. Not carrying that he was with the enemy, he hugged the older as tightly as he could sobbing.

Dick had managed just barely to calm Jason as the boy would mumble nonsense and incoherent words that he didn't understand.

"Hey, are you okay?" Dick asked in a soft whisper of a voice dare not to speak above the tone he sets on himself. Afraid to scare the Robin. Jason shook his head as he cried into the older arm, trembling, reminding the thief that he was still a child in the clothes of a hero. A little boy filling in shoes that are too big for his own feet, a spot that can never be replaced. Robin isn't Batman and an adult who is feared by other adults, Robin is the light to the darkness of the dark Knight. Nothing more and nothing less.
