Chris POV

"Matthews move it would ya. Movie is going to start"
"Alright Evans keep your hair on"
I see her rushing over, handing me a bowl of popcorn and jumping down on the sofa. I hand her a bottle of beer and she smiles "thanks shit face"
"Really?"
"What? It's our thing. Get over it"
I can't help but smile, since meeting Dani and Grace that night we became really good friends. We starting hanging out more and Scott and Grace became bestfriends. Dani and I were friend who would constantly tease each other but I'm sure there was love there too.

Just as we are getting into the movie my phone starts to ring and I hear dani groan "Evans......"
"I know I know. 2 seconds"
I answer and I hear crying on the other end, I check the caller I'd and see it's grace calling me. I walk into the kitchen and whisper "Grace? What's wrong?"
"Can you come get me?" She asks between sobs "I tried scott but he isn't answering"
"Yeah of course. Where are you?"
She gives me the address and I tell her I'll be 10 minutes.
"Dani I just have to go run an errand quickly. Keep watching and I'll be back"
"Okay!!" She shouts out to me as I rush out of the door. God I hope she is okay.

I pull up to the address and I see grace sitting on some steps. I rush over to her and she is still crying. She stands up and wraps her arms around me, I hold her close and try and wait till she calms down.
"Hey" she lifts her head "what's wrong?"
"He cheated on me"
"What? Who did? Josh?"
She nods and continues to cry "I just walked in on him with another girl.....he didn't even have the guts to say sorry to me"
I feel my anger bubble inside, grace is like a little sister to me and to know someone has hurt her makes my blood boil.

"Where is he?"
"No Chris....please that's why I called you and not dani. Let's just go please"
I nod and we get into the car "where do you want to go?"
"Is dani at yours?"
"Yeah it's our movie marathon night"
"Just drop me home please. I'll explain to dani tomorrow"
"Okay"
I drive her to her house and she leans over and kisses me cheek "thanks chris"
"Anytime you know that"
She smiles and I wait until she is safely inside before driving home.

As I get through the door I hear dani scream. I run in and she is hiding behind a pillow, she turns and sees me "thank god! Come here"
I sit down next to her and I can't help but laugh, she cuddles in to me "god this movie is crazy. Don't leave me again"
"I won't you big baby"
"I'm not a big baby"
We continue watching, me laughing every time she jumps or whimpers, her continuing to hide her face in my chest. The only thing I've always admired about dani is she has always been 100% her and you can't get much better then that.
