Dani POV

It's been 2 days since the wedding and I haven't stopped crying. I never thought Lisa would take her side over mine not after all this time. I haven't heard anything from anyone not even Scott and I guess I've come to terms with the fact I now don't have anyone, I'm truly by my self. I'm just finishing my box of chocolate when my door bell rings. I rush over and open it, seeing Lisa, Scott, Shanna and Carly all standing there.
"What...." Before I can finish Lisa grabs me in a huge hug, squeezing the life out of me.

It's kind of hard to breathe but I hug her back just as tight.
"I'm so sorry sweetheart"  as she pulls away she cups my cheeks "I'm so sorry"
"I.....Lisa I'm....."
"No. You don't apologise, she deserved what you did. I heard it all okay, I was by the bathroom door. I'm sorry for making you leave. Can we please come in and I'll explain everything"
I nod and let them past all of them hugging me close and kissing my cheek as they make their way to the kitchen. As I step in, I see Lisa pouring us all wine, and I know instantly this is huge.

"So he's stuck in a contract?"
"Yes. Josh got him into this, forged his signature and now Chris is being threaten, they have said they will sue him if he utters one word of this to anyone and that they will go after all of us, just to hurt him"
"But how do you know?"
"I heard them talking, she was really laying into Chris and I heard everything. That's why I had to play along at the wedding Dani, she needs to think we all believe this"
Lisa walks over to me and hugs me again "I felt so rotten for what I did. I'm so sorry honey"

"It's okay. I'm just glad you don't all actually hate me. I really thought I'd lost all of you"
Scott comes up behind me and wraps his arms around me tight "never. Your an honorary Evans for life"
I can't help but giggle "well she could become a real Evans" I hear Carly say as she sips her wine. Lisa looks to me, her eyebrow raised.
"Excuse me?"
"I asked Dani if she loved Chris at the wedding and she couldn't answer me"
I look down feeling extremely shy, Scott takes me hand "Dani?"

As I look up I see all of them staring at me "I don't know. That's my honest answer, I don't know. Since my attack, things have changed and I have felt things for Chris that I didn't before but I don't know if that's love. All I know right now is I want to help him. And I think I know where we need to start"
"Where?"
"The joys of working for a law office, I have access to lawyers"
Lisa smiles "I'll call my friend and get him over here and hopefully he can point us in the right direction to help Chris"
"Thank you Dani. I need to help my baby boy"
"We will Lisa I promise"
