Wedding

Dani POV

I sit with everyone watching Shanna marry her soulmate, this has been the most beautiful wedding and I've felt so blessed to be apart of it. They even had a special memorial table for the people who couldn't be there and graces picture was included. I nearly cried my eyes out when I saw it.
"I know pronounce you husband and wife you may kiss the bride"
Everyone cheers as they seal their marriage with a kiss. They walk back down the aisle and I can't help but tear up. I look over and see Chris doing the same. He offers me a small smile before looking to his side and seeing Cameron giving me the most evil look possible.

Of course she is here, she's his plus one and I figured out she really doesn't like me. As we make our way out, I see her pull Chris to one side and they look like there exchanging words and not nice fluffy romantic ones.
"Wonder what that's about?" Carly asks as she stands next to me.
"I think it's about me. She doesn't seem to like me"
"Of course not. Chris has loved you for a long time"
"You know about that?"
"Oh please! Everyone but you could see it"

I shake my head "do you love him?" She asks and I can't help but feel a little shocked. As I try to answer we get interrupted by the coordinator, he tells us to make our way to the seating area for the meal. I walk away from Carly not really knowing what to say. Do I love Chris? Have I fallen in love with him? No. I can't have. Could I?

After the meal and speeches I make my way to the bathroom to freshen up. As I walk I see Cameron, she is fixing her make up. I stand next to her and I feel her glaring down at me.
"You look very beautiful Cameron"
She huffs "don't be nice. I know you don't like me and your trying to turn Chris against me"
"What?" I turn to face her "no I'm not"
"Yes you are. He doesn't love you anymore. He doesn't even like you. He pittys you, he thinks your sad and pathetic"
I go to walk away but she grabs my arm "stay away from Chris, otherwise you might just be joining your little sister"

I don't know what comes over me but I swing and end up slapping her. She looks at me in shock and storms out of the bathroom. I shake it off and head out, seeing her in Chris's arms. She is crying and Chris looks upset.
"She slapped me Chris, I didn't do anything"
He looks at me "that's not true"
"You didn't slap her?"
"No I did but....."
He looks so torn as to what to do, as he goes to speak Lisa steps in front of him.
"You need to leave Dani"
"What!?" I hear from the side of me, Scott standing there in as much shock as me.

"Are you joking ma? There is obviously...."
"I don't care. Cameron is Chris's girlfriend, she should be treated with respect. Dani you need to go"
I can't help the tears that start to fall, I look to Chris and he looks just as broken as me.
"Lisa...."
"Go"
I nod and go to walk away, I feel someone catch my hand and as I look it Scott "Dani....."
"It's okay"
I pull my arm away and grab my coat and bag and head outside to a taxi. As I get in my heart breaks and sob all the way home. I think I've just lost the only family I ever had.
