6 months later

New York is so busy, it's hussle and bussle all the time, there is no rest bite and surprisingly I love it. I've been here 6 months and my job is going amazingly, I'm actually really loving it here. Everyday I make the same walk down to my favourite coffee spot and I spend some time there before walking back to work. Today the sun is shining and I'm listening to an upbeat playlist. I feel my phone and as I look I see a text from a friend of mine at work, she is telling me our evil boss still hasn't shown is ugly face and it makes me laugh. But as I'm too busy looking down at my phone I don't see the man walking towards until I've walked into him, knocking my coffee everywhere.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry. Please tell me that didn't burn you" he says as I pick up my coffee mug from the floor. As I look up, I'm about to scold him when I look into his gorgeous brown eyes and I instantly freeze.
"Hi" he says with a small smile on his face.
"Hi"
"I'm so sorry. Are you okay?"
I nod shyly "yes I'm fine, I'm so sorry I wasn't looking"
"Neither was I so I guess we are both to blame" he winks and I giggle. I giggle what the hell.
"Despite my clumsiness you still look beautiful so you have nothing to worry about" I feel my cheeks burn as he stares into my eyes.

"Can I buy you another coffee to apologise?"
I smile and look down at my buzzing phone, my assistant telling me my boss is leaving.
"Oh god! I'm so sorry I can't I have to get back to work"
"Oh.....no worries. It was nice to meet you"
"You too"
I go to work past him, when he places his hand on my arm "how about your number so I can make up for the spilt coffee another time?"
He smirks and I have to give him his due for his openness. I quickly grab him one of my cards from my bag and hand it too him, smiling and waving goodbye. That was unexpected but he was so handsome.

A few hours later

I'm finally home and I'm finally chilled out in a bubble bath, my candles are lit and my music is on. As I lie there I think about how different my life is now, I miss Boston and I miss grace everyday but I try to do what she would want and live my life to the fullest. I hear my phone buzz, I groan but sit up and grab it. I look and I notice my phone doesn't recognise the number, I answer gingerly and when I do I hear that sultry voice from earlier.
"Hey, I hope this is the right number. It's the stupid guy who knocked the coffee all over the beautiful woman"
I giggle "I'm happy to inform you, you do have the right number. I am sed woman"

We talk for a while and he seems like a really nice guy, we laugh and joke and then he eventually asks me out for coffee, I of course say yes. We pick a time and place and agree to meet there on Saturday. As I hang up the phone, I know I have a huge smile on my face and I'm really looking forward to seeing him. I haven't been excited for a date for a long time so this is a huge deal for me.
