"Are you fucking kidding me!?" (Y/N) yelled in anger. The creature stood up, shaking off the weight of the truck like it was nothing. (Y/N) jumped across the stairs, thanks to adrenaline. He nearly fell, but was able to get a solid footing. He turned around to face the other man. "Salim!"

Salim looked and saw that (Y/N) was waiting for him. (Y/N) had his hands out, gesturing for him to follow. Salim rushed over, jumping across the stairs. His feet didn't land correctly and he tripped, almost slipping into the gap. But (Y/N) was right there and grabbed him, pulling him up.

The creature rushes towards them, almost falling. But it pulls itself back, screeching, realizing there is a hole in the floor. Salim is still on the stairs, but (Y/N) has climbed up them. He watches as Salim shoots at the creature with no effect. Angry, Salim tosses his gun at the monster.

The beast screams, lunging itself forward. Salim gasps in fear, quickly climbing up the stairs, barely evading its claws. The creature narrowly misses him when it jumps again. Salim and (Y/N) go opposite ways, each trying to evade the beast. (Y/N) didn't want to split up, and neither did Salim, but the monster left them with very little choice.

(Y/N) is safe from the beast, for now, being a little bit aways. But (Y/N) can see that Salim has no chance. The creature is nearly right on top of him. (Y/N) grabs his pistol and shoots at the monster, grabbing its attention, trying to save Salim. The creature turned it's head slowly, as if it didn't know where (Y/N) was. But it did.

It lunged at (Y/N), knocking him down. "Ungh!" (Y/N) grunted as he hit the ground. He could see the creature on top of him, it's ugly face peering down at him. (Y/N) was able to squirm out of it's grip, pushing the beasts arms out of the way. There was no where to go. There were some rocks nearby but that was all. (Y/N) tried to climb up them, but the beast grabbed his foot. (Y/N) still kept trying to climb, hoping the creature would let go. (Y/N) can hear a sizzling noise. Confused, he looks and sees that the creature's arm is burning in the sun. The beast yelps, jumping back, freeing (Y/N). "Huh..?" (Y/N) questions between deep breaths. Did sunlight hurt it?

Realizing it can't get (Y/N), the creature turns its attention back to Salim. Salim had gone back down the stairs and was getting a weapon from the piles of ruin and debris. (Y/N) could barely see it but it looked like a metal stake. (Y/N) could see the creature getting ready to jump.

"Watch out!" (Y/N) yelled to the other man. Salim quickly dodged the creature, just barely, thanks to (Y/N). The creature screeched and Salim hit it with the stake. Unlike bullets, the creature seemed to feel that, crying out in pain. It backed up, as if it were hurt.

Salim readied the stake, pointing the sharp end towards the threat. (Y/N) watched in terror as the creature lunged, jumping right on top of Salim.

"Salim!" (Y/N) cried out, watching as the other hit the floor. (Y/N) couldn't see him anymore. All he could see was the beast, screeching at the top of its lungs.
