"Push forward into the temple!" Jason orders, already running that way. "Move!" It was where Dar and Salim had just retreated to, but the group had no choice. Staying out here was a death wish.

The group followed Jason, all rushing inside. Once they were all in, Jason and (Y/N) began to close the doors. "Shit," (Y/N) cursed, trying his best. The doors were heavy.

"Put your shoulder into it!" Jason told him. (Y/N) could see that Jason was struggling as well. They were trying their best, but what if they couldn't close it?

Nick and Eric had their guns aimed through the opening, ready to shoot in case a beast came through. "Hurry!" Eric screamed at them.

"We're trying," (Y/N) yelled back. He didn't see Eric trying to close the door.

Nick looked around the open room, trying to scan for the enemy. The human enemies. "I don't see the Iraqis," Nick told the group, still searching. If they were here, they were hidden well.

"If they got any sense they'll stay back," Jason replied, grunting as he tried to get the door closed. Inch by inch the door was getting more and more shut. The screams and shrieks of the creatures was getting closer.

(Y/N) couldn't help but think of Salim. He still couldn't wrap his head around it. Salim knew there were bigger threats around them. So why attack? Why betray him?

"Wait!" A voice called out. Jason and (Y/N) halted, wondering who it was.

"Rachel!?" Nick replied, seeing her through the crack. She was running as fast as she could.

"Rachel?" Eric questioned softly, lowering his gun. She was alive...?

"I thought you said she was dead?" (Y/N) asked Jason.

"Shit, I thought so," Jason replied.

Rachel ran through the doors into the temple. As soon as she was through, Jason and (Y/N) went back to closing the doors.

"You're alive?" Nick asked in disbelief.

"Have any doubt, Marine?" She smiled at him. Nick reached forward and pulled her into a hug.

(Y/N) and Jason shut the doors, securing it with a plank of wood. (Y/N) looked at the two, confused. He thought Rachel was with Eric? And why was she covered in so much blood?

(Y/N) could see Eric's face. He was pissed. "Where's Eric?" Rachel asked, breaking away from the hug.

(Y/N) thought Eric would say something. Hug his wife. Be happy to see her. But nope. He punched Nick right in the face. But Nick was quick and was able to punch Eric right back. "That's the best you got?" Nick said mockingly.

Jason rolled his eyes, looking over at (Y/N). He was so tired of shit like this. They had bigger problems. And by the look on (Y/N)'s face, Jason could tell his friend felt the same.

Rachel pulled Nick away from Eric. "Stop it!" She demanded, breaking the fight.

"I know it's him, Rache. I know!" Eric told her bitterly. Rachel was cheating on Eric? Hell, (Y/N) wondered why Eric was even fighting for her. She wasn't worth it at this point.

"You better stop off before I start swinging. Colonel or no Colonel," Nick warned.

"Don't, Nick," Rachel glared at him. "I tried waiting, Eric. I really did. I'm sorry."

"Always loyal..." Eric spat back.

"I-" Rachel tried to say something.

But (Y/N) was tired of this shit. "Can you guys talk about this later? Those creatures are still out there," (Y/N) told them.
