Jessie

Episode 9

Winter: "Guys, I just got off the phone with dad, and guess what? Jordan Taylor is coming to stay with us for the week."
Luke: "No way! The Jordan Taylor? As in Hollywood's highest paid actor?"
Ravi: "Wow, we've got to make sure everything's perfect for him."
Emma: "Perfect? More like make sure he falls head over heels for one of us!"
Jessie: "Emma, that's not the point. We have to be gracious hosts and show him a good time while he's here."
Zuri: "Can we prank call him?"
Luke: "Yes! I've already got a few ideas in mind."
Bertram (pretending to work nearby): "I'll make sure the penthouse is spotless and that everything runs smoothly just as long as nobody disturbs me."
Winter: "Okay guys, let's focus on making Jordan feel welcome. That means no prank calls, Emma."
Later that week, on Jessie's date with Jordan:
Jordan: "So Jessie, tell me about yourself. What do you like to do for fun?"
Emma (bursting into the restaurant): "Jessie! Dad said not to tell anyone about Jordan staying here but I couldn't resist!"
Jordan (disappointed): "I see... well Jessie, it was nice meeting you. Goodnight everyone."
As he exits the restaurant and heads back to the penthouse alone, Winter scolds Emma for disobeying their father's orders.
Winter: "Emma, why would you do that? You ruined Jessie's date and made us all look bad in front of Jordan!"
Emma (apologetically): "I'm sorry guys. I just wanted some attention too."
But Winter knows there will be consequences for both Emma and their relationship with Jordan.
Winter (to herself): This isn't over yet. We have one more chance to make a good impression on him tomorrow. And we can't let Emma mess it up again.

Dialogue-Only Story:
Winter: Ugh, Jessie! Look what happened to zuri doll! It's ruined!
Jessie: Oh no, Zuri! That's not good.
Winter: I need a new one. Can we go buy it today?
Jessie: I'm sorry, but we can't just buy a new one. We don't have enough money.
Winter: Well, then let's make some money! How about a lemonade stand?
Jessie: That's a great idea. Let's do it after school.
At School...
Luke: Hey guys, this is Ravi. He's the new student in our class.
Ravi: Hi everyone. Nice to meet you all.
Emma: Welcome to our school!
Luke (whispers): Just act normal, okay? Don't embarrass me on your first day.
Ravi (confused): Okay sure, why would I embarrass you?
Luke: Just trust me.
Lunch time...
Bully: Hey Luke, give me your lunch money.
Ravi (interrupts): Hey bully, do you like spicy food?
Bully (confused): Uh... no?
Ravi hands him a dragon fire pepper and watches as the bully eats it and cries.
Bully (crying): Water... please...
At the lemonade stand after school...
Cop (walking by): You can't sell food without a permit. Shut down this lemonade stand now.
Mrs. Chesterfield (walking by): And you kids should be studying instead of wasting time on this silly idea.
Zuri (determined): We're not giving up! We'll find another way to make money for my doll!
Bertram (walking by with 200 dollars in his hand): What are you kids up to now?
Jessie: We're trying to raise money for Zuri's doll.
Bertram hands over the 200 dollars and with happy faces, the Ross children celebrate their victory.
Winter: Thank you, Bertram!
Bertram: No problem. Just don't tell Mr. Ross about this, he'll have my head.
