Winter: Hey Luke, come on! We can't wait any longer. Let's go trick-or-treat on the 13th floor.
Luke: You heard Grimm Holloran. He warned us not to go to that floor.
Winter: Grimm is just a weirdo. There's no way that candy can be dangerous beyond understanding.
Luke: Yeah, but what if there's something up there we don't know about?
Winter: You're such a chicken. Let's go, or we'll miss out on all the good stuff.
(Emma and Ravi enter the room)
Emma: What are you guys doing?
Winter: We're going trick-or-treating on the 13th floor.
Ravi: No way, have you forgotten what Grimm said?
Luke: We're not scared like you guys.
Emma: Luke, Winter, don't be foolish. Grimm is a strange man with a strange personality. You never know what dangers might await you up there.
Jessie (bursting in): Guys! I did it! I submitted my story to a famous journalist!
    Winter: That's great!
Jessie (hysterically): There was this one part where I referred to someone as a "bloodthirsty maniac" and now the Ross children think I'm going to kill them!
Emma (skeptical): What? Why would they think that?
Jessie (sleep-deprived): I don't know! They won't listen to me or Tony when we tell them it was just my imagination!
    Bertram enters the room)
Bertram (exasperated): What's going on in here? Why are you kids so riled up?
Ravi (dramatically): Grimm Holloran warned us not to trick-or-treat on the 13th floor because of possible dangers beyond understanding!
Bertram (sarcastic): Oh great, another story about that weirdo. Listen kids, Grimm is just a guy who's seen too many scary movies. There's no such thing as dangers beyond understanding.
Emma: But what about Jessie? The other kids think she's going to kill us!
Bertram (exasperated): Oh boy, here we go again. Jessie, you need to calm down and explain to the children that you're not a bloodthirsty maniac waiting to kill off anyone in your path.
Jessie (sighing): I'll try, but they're not exactly the easiest group of kids to reason with.
(Suddenly Grimm Holloran bursts into the room)
Grimm: You! I've been looking for you all day! Have you trick-or-treated on the 13th floor yet?
Winter: No, we were just about to go up there now.
Grimm (urgently): You can't go up there! It's too dangerous!
Luke: We're not scared like the others. We can handle it.
Grimm (frantic): No! You don't understand! I've seen things up there that would make your hair stand on end!
Bertram (skeptical): What kind of things?
    Grimm: Things...beyond understanding.
Jessie (realizing something): Wait a minute. Bertram, do you remember what Mr. Kipling was doing last night?
Bertram (thoughtful): Come to think of it, he was acting really strange. And this morning he had scratches all over him...
(The lights suddenly flicker and power goes out)
    Emma: What was that?!
Luke: Maybe Grimm was right. Maybe there are dangers beyond understanding up there...

Ravi: (yawning) "I can't do this anymore, Zuri. I haven't slept in days because of these baby lizards."
Zuri: "Don't worry, Ravi. I can help you. I used to babysit all the time for my neighbor's reptiles."
Ravi: "Really? That would be great. But let's keep this between us. I don't want any of the others to know."
Zuri: "Deal. But don't forget, I'm doing this as your sister, not just a part-time nanny."
Jessie: "Hey Winter, how was your day at the mall?"
Winter: (rolling her eyes) "Ugh, it was terrible. My favorite store was closed for inventory and then some guy spilled his frappuccino all over my new boots."
Jessie: "Well, maybe you should take it easy on shopping and help Ravi with the lizards."
Winter: (sarcastically) "Oh yes, because taking care of baby lizards is so much more exciting than shopping. Count me out."
    Meanwhile...
Tony: "Why is Officer Petey here? And dressed like a waiter?"
Jessie: "He's crashing our date. Apparently there's been some crime spree in the area and he needs to be on high alert."
Tony: (sighing) "Just when I thought we could have a normal date night..."
    Later...
Tony: (whispering to Emma) "I need your help. I think Jessie is cheating on me with that officer guy."
Emma: (surprised) "What? No way. But okay, let's spy on her and see what she's up to."
Bertram: (watching Jessie perform at an improv class) "Wow, Jessie really has a talent for comedy."
Tony: (jealous) "Yeah, and she's spending a lot of time with Officer Petey too. I don't know what to do anymore."
Emma: "Tony, calm down. You can't accuse her of cheating without proof."
Tony: "But I just have this feeling..."
Jessie: (joining them) "Hey guys, what's up?"
Winter: (happily) "We just found out that Ravi and Zuri have finally got those baby lizards under control."
Jessie: "That's great news. Hey, Officer Petey invited us all to his legendary BBQ this weekend. You guys down?"
    Tony: (smiling) "Sounds like fun."
In the end, the Ross household learns to trust each other and work together to deal with their daily problems. Despite some jealousy and suspicion in their relationships, they realize that communication and honesty are key to maintaining a healthy family dynamic.
