chapter 4

step four: learning heart.

Doyoung didn't leave Taeil's apartment until noon. He asked his manager to look outside the building for him before he walked out from Taeil's apartment, using Taeil's clothes, pants, bucket hat, yellow mask and house slipper.

Though his manager already confirmed that it was safe, he still wants to be careful. His manager called him asking him to bring Taeil to the office to sign an NDA contract, it was a thing they did to protect idol wild life. Even when the idol was in a real relationship, an NDA contract is a must.

Doyoung ignored his manager as he drove to his parent's house. His parents live in an elite area, and Doyoung and his brother decided to move their parents there to protect their privacy. The housing is expensive in the area but the security is magnificent. They never regret buying the house for their parents there.

His parents don't work. Doyoung and his brother make enough for their parents. And it was nice to see their parent finally living their life after years of making a life for their children. They sacrifice their youth for a better future for their children and it is just about right to spend their old age with something they really passionate about. Focus on their hobbies and their health.

Doyoung's father love driving a big car, he is always out with his friend just enjoying life. Doyoung's mother loves hunting for rare flowers and old cups at the flea market with her friends. Both of his parents rarely home and Doyoung doesn't mind.

He arrived home seeing his mother cleaning her cup collection. Doyoung love seeing his parents. He dreams of his own family as happy as his parents. He wants to be the great father and husband everyone can wish for.

Doyoung is thirty years old and he hasn't had even one successful relationship. He wants to blame it to his job for not allowing him to actually find a partner. The truth is the company never stop them from dating, they even provided a place to date if their artist was serious about their relationship.

It will be a lie if Doyoung said he never dated. He was a known national boyfriend after all. Doyoung had been in a few serious relationships, but none worked out. Doyoung doesn't mind at all, he has a lot of time. It was easy for him to get a partner. Because well – Doyoung is handsome, polite, rich, and everyone's dream boyfriend.

But sometimes, when he looks at his parents – the urge to have his own partner was more than he can handle. Most of his cousin was married and he feel very sad when he thinks about himself not even having a boyfriend or girlfriend.

Though Doyoung is bisexual – he always preferred women. He wanted a child of his own.

"My friend invited me for tea. You want to join?" His mother asked. Doyoung is closer to his mother, he followed his mother everywhere and he enjoyed being around his mother's circle. It was positive and full of love.

Doyoung's type in a partner is someone like his mother. Always happy, working hard, positive, and full of love. Where can Doyoung find such a person? He doubts there is another perfect human being other than his mother.

"No, I have dinner with my friend," He doesn't have dinner with friends.

After stepping out of Taeil's apartment, there are so many thoughts that keep on bothering Doyoung. He didn't want to know more; he shouldn't know more but he can't help but ask questions. Taeil was clearly uncomfortable when Doyoung asked about his sleepwalking habit.

Taeil's sleepwalking happens, started even before he was in a relationship with Johnny. Doyoung concluded that maybe that's also one of the reasons why they broke it off. Johnny was scared of this habit. And Doyoung can totally understand. Doyoung was trembling to death when he saw Taeil crying and laughing in front of the door last night.
