Why won't these feelings go away..?

Welcome Home

The plane landed, I woke Will up,

Mike: "Hey Will, Will! We're here."

Will: "What- already?"

Mike: "Yep."

We got out of our seats, grabbed our luggage and stepped off the plane. But we weren't actually back home just yet. We still had to have a 30 minute drive. When the car finally stopped we all quickly got out. I looked up it was a different house from the one they used to live in. I think it had an extra room since El was living with them now. Will and El were both standing beside me now, they started walking to the house. Ready to star-

The party: "WELCOME BACK!"

I froze looking at everyone who was now standing in front of us. It was: Dustin, Lucas and Max. Dustin ran up to Will and hugged him.

Dustin: "Welcome back man, we missed you alot."

Will: "Haha, I missed you alot too Dustin."

Meanwhile Max hugged El.

El: "Max!"

Max: "El! Okay we have so much to talk about we should totally hangout sometime maybe tomorrow? Today? We should go to the mall!"

El: "Okay, okay calm down. We can go to the mall right now."

Joyce: "Sorry but your going to have to unpack a bit before you go out first."

Max: "Oh! We can help you unpack, c'mon."

I watched as Max and El ran inside the house holding hands. Well since Max is helping El unpack I may as well help Will unpack too.

Mike: "Hey Will, I'll help you."

Will: "Oh, okay!"

We walked inside the house and had a little look around, it looked nice and had alot of space but obviously it was completely empty. We walked upstairs trying to figure what room Will wanted.

Will: "How about this one?"

We opened the door and walked inside but El had already claimed this one.

Max: "Sorry Byers. Guess you'll just have to pick another one."

El laughed, we walked out of the room closing the door behind us. That left us with 3 more choices. After we looked through all of them. Will had made his choice. We went with the one that was right next to El's room. It was close to the stairs so that he could just walk upstairs and go straight in his room, it was also very spacious and had many walls to hang up all of his paintings.

Mike: "Right so, should we start unpacking then?"

Will: "Yeah."

We started with lifting his mattress into his room. Which was really hard work. We forced Jonathan to make Will's bed for him. After he had finished we started with the first box it was his clothes, we put them all away and once we we were done it was time for the second box.

An hour later

After a long hour of putting all of his furniture in the correct places. It was time for the best box, this one was more smaller but it was the best box yet. The one that held all of his painting's. Before we decided where to put them I managed to convince Will to let me look at them. Most of the photos were all of our characters from D&D. But there was some self-portraits and painting's of Joyce and Jonathan. After looking through nearly all of them. I stumbled across one, it looked like a person, I opened it up but before I got to look at it Will snatched it from me.

Will: "NO DON'T LOOK AT THAT ONE!"

Mike: "WHAT! Why not?"

Will: "Because it's a painting of- i-It's just not finished yet okay.."

Mike: "Okay then.."

The room fell silent...

Mike: "Let's put the painting's on the wall."

We put most of them on the wall but kept the rest in a binder on the cabinet next to Will's bed. Since we finished unpacking I decided to go check on El and see if she had finished unpacking aswell yet. I went to walk in but I heard Max talking to El,

Max: "Wait- so what's been happening with Mike and you?"

I paused. Why did she say my name? I put my ear to the door and started to listen to their conversation.

Eleven: "I feel like our relationship is changing. It's not just in California but before I moved aswell. I think we're slowly falling apart."
