Why won't these feelings go away..?

The Mall

Mike's pov:

I stood back from the door. I can't believe what I just heard, she thinks we're falling apart..but- what am I going to do? How can I fix this? I need El! Why does she think that I don't love her? Of course I.. Love her...

I have to confront her about it. I knocked on the door.

Mike: "El, can I come in?"

Eleven: "Yeah."

I walked in and saw Max and El sitting on the bed together. Right Mike, you have to tell her that you heard what she said to Max. Then you can talk to her about it. And all you have to do is tell her that you love her.. Easy.

Mike: "El I-I. Have you finished unpacking yet?"

Eleven: "Oh yeah! I actually just finished. Why?"

Mike: "Because.. I thought that we could hang out with everyone. Since you haven't seen them in a year."

Max: "Yeah that could be fun, we should totally go to the mall!"

Eleven: "Yeah!"

Mike: "Great, c'mon then we can go now."

We walked out the room, shutting the door behind us. Why didn't I just tell her. Ugh.. It's fine I can just tell her later. I walked back inside Will's room and told him that we were going to the mall. We walked downstairs, where everyone was waiting for us then walked outside and got into Jonathan's car since he said that he would drive us there. Once we arrived at the mall we all split up; Max and El ran in a clothing store; Dustin went to scoops ahoy with Lucas since he wanted ice-cream and that left me with only Will to hangout with.

Will: "Looks like it's just us then."

Mike: "Yep."

I wasn't sure where to go with Will though. Actually I'm quite hungry so we could go to a place to eat.

Mike: "Hey I'm hungry, do you want to go grab something to eat."

Will: "Sure."

We went to a restaurant and got something to eat. It was weird since it was just the two of us but we ended up having alot of fun. It felt nice to hangout with Will again, just the two of us. Maybe after this we could all play D&D
Just like old times. Will finished his glass of coke before looking up at me.

Will: "So where do you want to go after this?"

Mike: "Oh I'm not sure, I kinda just thought of food."

Will: "You must've been really hungry."

I laughed,

Mike: "Yeah.."

Will: "Well we should look for the others after this.. You'll want to spend some time with El right?"

Mike: "Yeah.."

Will: "I could take the others to a store so you get some alone time with El.."

Mike: "NO!"

Why did I say that? Of course I want to spend time with El but I also want spend time Will. Oh and the others of course.

Mike: "I mean.. I want to spend time with everyone, like old times."

Will: "Old times was more just you and El lying about curfew so you could make out."

What? That's not what I meant did I upset him or something?

Mike: "Well this could be me making up for that. I was too caught up in El and I just forgot about all of my friends. I forgot about.. You."

I smiled at Will I could see that a smile was now forming on his face as well. He has such a pretty smile. I could feel butterflies in my stomach, what is this feeling? I've never really felt like this before.

Will: "Uhm, is something wrong?"

Mike: "What! Uh no."

Will: "Oh okay, it's just that you kept staring at me."

Shit. Why did I stare at him, he probably thinks I'm a weirdo now.

Mike: "Hey, let's just go find El."

Will: "Okay.."

We got up and walked to the clothing store I saw them in earlier. Luckily, they were still there. We walked up to them.

Mike: "Hey El, are you done shopping? We were thinking about getting some ice-cream."

Eleven: "Yeah, let's go."

We walked out of the store and were on our way. When we reached the store Dustin was talking to Steve and this other girl I think her name was Robin? Lucas was sitting at a table alone so we decided to sit next to him.

Lucas: "Hey, where did you guys go?"

Max&El: "We went to buy some clothes."

Will: "We went to a restaurant."

Everyone: "YOU WENT TO A RESTAURANT?"

Mike: "Uhm, yes?"

Max: "Why did you just go to a restaurant alone with Mike?"

Will: "What's wrong with that? We were hungry."

Mike: "Yeah.."

Lucas: "Okay then. It's just kinda weird."

I just stared at them in confusion, then ordered ice-cream. After we finished eating we decided to go home since there wasn't anything else to do.

Lucas: "Dustin, we're going now."

Dustin: "Okay, bye Steve."

Steve: "Bye."

We had to get the bus back since Jonathan had left us here. After 10 minutes we arrived back home.

Eleven: "Well guess you should leave now."

Max: "Or I could stay."

Will: "What do you mean?"

Dustin: "We could have a sleepover."

Eleven: "Yeah! That would we be fun, we can watch a movie."

Lucas: "Sure, it sounds cool."

Dustin: "And you Mike?"

Mike: "Yeah."

Max: "So it's settled then we're having a sleepover."
