Why won't these feelings go away..?

Sleepover

Lucas: "Wait don't we need pyjamas?"

Max: "Ehh, it's fine we can just go back to our houses and come back with pyjamas."

Eleven: "Whose house are we going to stay at then?"

Dustin: "We should stay at Mike's since he just got a tv in his basement."

I saw them all turn to face me. I sighed,

Mike: "Okay then.. Whatever you say."

I rolled my eyes and left the house with Will and El. We got to my house and walked to the basement, we couldn't really do anything since we had to wait for everyone else to arrive.

Eleven: "I'm going to get changed into my pyjamas."

Mike: "Okay.."

Will sat down on the couch next to me,

Will: "So what do you want to do while we wait?"

Mike: "I don't know.."

Will: "Hey, you seem weird today. Did something happen?"

Mike: "I-it's about El.."

Will: "Oh! What happened? Did you get into another fight?"

Mike: "No.. But I heard her talking to Max about me. She said that she thinks our relationship is falling apart."

Will: "What why?"

Mike: "Apparently I didn't say something. I can't remember! Okay?"

Will: "You can't remember?"

Mike: "Well ye- I mean no!"

I don't know why but I didn't want to tell Will exactly what I heard. I don't know what do anymore...

Will: "Well.. You should talk to El about it. And whatever she wants you to say you can say it to her then."

Mike: "Yeah.."

We saw Max, Lucas and Dustin walk down the stairs. El had just came out of the bathroom at the same time. She sat down next to me.

Eleven: "So what movie are we going to watch?"

Dustin: "Gremlins."

Lucas: "What! When did we agree to that?"

Dustin: "Now. C'mon sit down."

Lucas: "No! We need to agree on the movie first."

Dustin: "Okay, raise your hand if you want to watch gremlins."

Everyone but Lucas raised their hand.

Dustin: "Well that solves that."

We all sat down, Will then me then El then Max and Dustin and Lucas had to sit on the floor since their wasn't anymore room on the sofa. A couple hours later the movie ended and my Mom came downstairs.

Karen: "Mike it's getting late, you and your friends should go to sleep soon."

Mike: "Okay Mom."

We got dressed into our pyjamas,

Mike: "Did you all bring sleeping bags?"

Everyone except Will: "Yes."

Mike: "You didn't bring one?"

Will: "Crap! I forgot."

Mike: "It's fine you can just sleep on the couch."

Will: "I thought you were going to sleep on the couch, I don't want things to be awkward. I can just sleep on the floor."

Mike: "NO! no really it's fine, I can go grab us some blankets okay."

Will: "Okay."

I went upstairs with Max following me. I grabbed a blanket and turned around,

Max: "Hi."

Mike: "AAAHH! What the hell Max? What do you want."

Max: "Nothing. Nothing.. It's just you and Will are sleeping on the sofa together?"

Mike: "Yes, what's wrong with that?"

Max: "I just think it's kinda weird that your going to be sleeping right next to your bestfriend."

Mike: "We won't be sleeping right next to each other."

Max: "Couldn't you just let Will sleep in El's sleeping bag while you and El sleep on the couch?"

Mike: "No! Well yeah but I already told Will to sleep on the sofa so.."

Max: "Right.."

I don't know why but she kept smirking at me before walking back downstairs. Weird. Not shortly after, I followed her downstairs. Everyone was already in their sleeping bags but I could see Will sitting on the couch waiting. Max got into her sleeping bag and I sat on the couch with Will, putting the blanket over us. I lied down on the side of the sofa. Meanwhile, Will was on the other side. I closed my eyes and slowly fell asleep, but before I had fully drifted away I felt a warmth like someone was cuddling me. It felt nice and with that I fell into a slumber smiling right before I did.
