Monday rolled in and the two males had gotten used to their routine by now. Coming in at 4am, set up the display by 8 and open the store by 9. There were instances they opened a little later but it didn't affect much since their customers usually come after 9 anyway. Wooyoung still tried to make conversation with the man dressed in black but still had no luck getting his name. There always was something that came up that stopped him from learning it. Still, he knew he wasn't going to give up just because of that unless the other stopped coming.

Tuesday was the same except the two of them worked until 10pm that night since they had to have 100 custom cupcakes ready by morning. They were starting to get more custom orders and that was good too apart from the lack of sleep they were both suffering from. They couldn't nap either since they had to constantly be at the counter. They had talked about having a break time so they could get some rest but they agreed to only start it once they could hire a part timer.

It was Wednesday when Yeosang only came in in the morning to help out before letting Wooyoung have the bakery to himself for the rest of the day.

"Good morning," Wooyoung decided to greet the male who was still dressed in black. He was really curious about the other's choice of fashion and felt like other colors would fit him too but it wasn't his place to comment on someone else's outfits.

"Morning," the male replied as he stood at the counter, eyeing the chocolate muffin again. Wooyoung took it without much thought and packed it up for the other.

"Anything else?"

"No," the male said and Wooyoung was about to tell him the price but the male handed him the money first.

"Geez. Couldn't be any faster, could you?" Wooyoung said jokingly as the male took the bag. "Oh. Here."

Wooyoung pulled out a can of coffee from the fridge that he had bought earlier and handed it to the confused male. "What is it for?"

"Well, you're always here so early but instead of coffee, you buy my muffin. You can say no if you don't want it."

The male took the can and bowed. "Thank you."

"You can thank me with a smile," Wooyoung said cheekily and the male just stared at him. It made the baker awkward so he cleared his throat. "I'm just kidding. Don't need to look like you want to punch me."

"Sorry. I'll be off now," the male said and left the bakery.

"Kay, bye," Wooyoung said with a tiny pout. He was curious as to what the other's job was too since he was always dressed like he was attending a funeral. He searched on his phone for what kind of job would allow clothes like that but his search was cut short as more customers entered the bakery. Wooyoung didn't have much of a break that day as he had to help with loading 100 cupcakes to the car that had to take two rounds to pick up everything. He had also run out a cupcake flavor earlier than expected and rushed a new batch while still serving the customers.

At the end of the day, he started counting the amount that they had and carefully kept the money. He started to clean the bakery, front and back. He tried to think if there was anything he had forgotten before making his way to the kitchen exit. He froze when he heard the back door creak. He was certain he had closed it. Maybe Yeosang forgot something? He poked his head out.

"Yo, what are you doing back here so late?" Wooyoung asked casually but quickly realized that the person who had entered wasn't Yeosang as a cloaked figure stood at the entryway. One look at the mask that covered more than half of the figure's face and Wooyoung's memory clicked faster than a mechanical pencil. "W-who the fuck are you?!"

The figure didn't reply but instead started to move towards the panicked male who rushed back into the kitchen. Wooyoung tried to find his phone but remembered that he left it on the counter. He spun around but the figure was already there. He squeaked and grabbed a knife from the knife holders.
