"I fucking love him so much."

Yeosang rolled his eyes and sighed. "San?"

"Yes."

"He's everything you ever dreamed of and more?"

"Yes."

"He's perfect."

"Yes!"

"I've heard that for the tenth time today, Wooyoung," Yeosang grunted.

"I've said it ten times already?"

"Yes and I swear if you say it one more time, you're taking care of the bakery alone."

"Noooo. Don't leave me," Wooyoung whined and Yeosang sighed.

"But you're not going to stop, are you?"

"But I really do love him so much. I know it might be our honeymoon phase or whatever but I'm just so in love."

"I thought you've been in love with him since you were young?"

"Yes."

"I guess all those repressed emotions are turning you dumb," Yeosang scoffed and Wooyoung sulked.

"I'm not dumb."

"Yeah but you've forgotten about the police, haven't you?"

Wooyoung gasped and nodded. "Okay, I forgot some stuff but it's been a whole week since I started dating him and he's just...so bloody perfect. Ugh. It almost feels like a sin to be with him."

Yeosang tapped his fingers on the table and nodded. "And if it is a sin?"

"Huh?"

"You haven't forgotten what you did to him, have you?"

"I...Of course I'll never forget that but he's probably forgiven me and moved on or he realized he likes me too. I don't know. I mean I know he likes me. He tells me every day."

Yeosang nodded and felt conflicted. He was happy that his friend was happy but he was also suspicious of San. A whole lot. But he knew Wooyoung didn't suspect him at all for some reason. He wondered if love made him blind or he was probably just overthinking things but he was relieved that his friend no longer went home alone as San would fetch him from the bakery after closing hours.

"Am I a bad friend?"

"You?" Jongho responded as he placed down the cup of tea for Yeosang before sitting beside him.

"Yeah. I just feel like I'm horrible."

"What makes you think so?"

"Wooyoung is so happy now but.. I just can't rub off my suspicions from San."

"Well, do you have any proof that it's San?"

"No, just my gut feeling. That guy always looks at me like he wants to get rid of me even though he smiles so brightly around Wooyoung. It scares me a little."

"And you don't think you're overthinking things?"

"I do. I do think I am but at the same time, we haven't caught his attacker yet so I can't be relieved either. And if his attacker really stops once San is dating him, don't you think it is him?"

"Does Wooyoung care about that?"

"What do you mean?"

"If San really was the attacker, do you think Wooyoung would care?"

"I don't know... I think he would be very hurt?"

Jongho scooted closer to Yeosang and pulled him down to his shoulder to lean on. "If there's nothing much you can do, then don't. No point stressing yourself out over something you can't do anything about. You're not a bad friend. You still support Wooyoung and you didn't shut him out either."
