"So you're saying that there's been a break in but there is not a single evidence in the CCTV recording or even the old knobs that it has been picked?"

Yeosang nodded firmly. "Yes."

"Anything missing?"

"Not that we know of yet."

"Then how do you know that there's been a break in?" the police asked, grunting a little since there wasn't much for them to work on.

"Because my friend saw him."

"Did you take any pictures of him or...?"

"No," Wooyoung whispered, feeling nervous around the cops.

"So you're the sole witness of a break in but nothing is missing and nothing actually happened?"

"Not nothing completely," Wooyoung muttered.

"We can't work out a case if nothing happened."

"So you can't do anything?" Yeosang asked and the police nodded.

"What do you expect me to do?"

"Isn't the erasure of the CCTV footage alarming enough to warrant something?"

"Unless you're hiding something else for me which is what made you contact the cops in the first place, there's nothing much I can do here."

Yeosang exchanged glances with Wooyoung who shook his head, and sighed.

"I'm sorry then. There's nothing I can do," the police said since the two refused to speak any further.

Yeosang didn't know what to do either. He had already changed the locks but somehow Wooyoung's attacker still managed to enter the bakery. He had every thought of just working every day with Wooyoung but knew he would burn out before they even caught the other.

"It's alright, Sangie."

"Hmm?"

"The police won't believe anything without evidence anyway."

"Police?" Wooyoung and Yeosang turned to find San in the bakery as they headed to the front.

"San?" Wooyoung squeaked since he wasn't expecting his boyfriend to be there.

"What's this about the police?"

"Nothing," Yeosang quickly interjected to Wooyoung's surprise. "Someone just asked us to make a police themed cupcake for their birthday. We were just discussing it."

"Hmm?" Wooyoung blinked and wondered why Yeosang was lying to San. He was going to tell San the truth but then Yeosang gripped his sleeve. He looked at friend's flat expression and wasn't sure why Yeosang wanted him to hide the truth.

"I see. I dropped by to see how you were doing since you said you were cleaning today," San said, directing his attention to Wooyoung who beamed.

"We are almost done," Wooyoung said.

"That's good to hear. I brought some lunch too. I tried texting you to see if you wanted any but you didn't reply so I thought you might have been too busy," San said while lifting the food in his hand.

"Wah! You didn't have to," Wooyoung said and hurried to take the food from his boyfriend. Yeosang noticed San glancing over at him and averted his gaze. He wasn't really used to lying so it made it difficult for him not to make awkward movements right now as he just stood still. "Look, he brought us food, Yeo."

"Hmm... Thank you."

"Welcome. I'm guessing I can't get a chocolate muffin in return for today," San said jokingly and Wooyoung gasped.
